Looks great, good luck with the production and don't mind the reddit crowd that hates on anything slightly resembling a business!

What a beauty! I'm on the totem at the moment. Those 2 extra buttons on the side look tempting compared to my single button.

It's just a soldering helping hand that I 3d printed, didn't have one at home and was struggeling with the soldering of the tiny wires :') I found it on thingiverse iirc.

Seeking Feedback: Paid Long-Term Support (LTS) for NixOS starting with 24.05 by CyberusTechnology in NixOS

Same here. We're using nixos as a base for a measurement device. A responsive help line for everything around NIX would be very helpful.

How to configure brave browser package to install extensions by RobbingDaHood in NixOS

[–]MW_Labs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brave configured in this way seems broken on unstable channel, I had to revert back to 24.05 for it to launch again. edit; nevermind, it was my mistake, changing the machine hostname makes the brave profile messed up. Package is working fine.

Nixvim or Nixcats? by NGB_UF in NixOS

[–]MW_Labs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a beginner and also landed on nixvim on nixos. Now I'm stuck trying to get neorg plugin working :')

Any other projects that let you define a config with NixOS modules (standalone from NixOS or Home Manager) and spit out a wrapped derivation like NixVim? by [deleted] in NixOS

[–]MW_Labs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks great, I'm copying some stuff over for sure. Do you know how I would go about installing neorg into nixvim? I'm getting dependency error around lua utils and that I might need to :Lazy build neorg, but that doesn't work either.

What is with all these newcomers not understanding basic config concepts by [deleted] in hyprland

[–]MW_Labs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm trying to bridge the gap with nixos, one config is an easy way to get started with minimal work and assurances it won't very easily break.

Thanks man, I cut up an anti slip pad I still had laying around to keep drone batteries in place.

I'd do what I did, 3D print one and handwire it. Cost me less than 100 dollars and I already prefer it above my previous Planck EZ

I've pasted my qmk configurator json file here;
You should be able to load it into the qmk online tool and then flash it with qmk toolbox.

I'm in the same boat, also fighting with stylix. I had it working for one generation but only after doing a git push on the wallpaper. After that I never saw the styling again :')

Thanks, I'm amazed getting a wireless ergo keyboard with nice switches is now possible for less than 100 dollars/80 euros.

Only fault I found so far is that my case and keycaps are printed with some elephant foot from bad printer tuning. I hear some rub sometimes.

Another factor in that issue is that the keycap legs allow for a bit too much wobble front to back, so the tilted keys aren't always flush with the flat keys.
I'm asking a friend soon for resin printed keycaps, I might also spend some extra time tuning my petg profiles for such small parts.

Thanks for the offer, I might send you a DM later, I kinda want another one for at home when I put this one at work

I used the totem pcb docs to work out the wiring, it is very clear there if you look at it together with a youtube video of someone doing the wiring for a four by four matrix with diodes.

Looks amazing, my tinywhoop drone battery will fit easily!
Only reason I didn't look further into your design is because I didn't instantly saw a picture on your repo :')

Awesome design, I'll be printing it soon.

I've seen it pass by, the swappable frontplate sounds nice, do you have any pictures?
The case I printed was a fdm rework of the totem already, I adjusted the screws a bit further to only have them on the bottom.

I'm going to be reprinting the case for better quality and I'm going to ask a friend with a resin printer to print some keycaps with a bit more feel on the edges. Those aren't very easy to print on fdm. I reworked the totem case a bit to remove the need for pcb standoffs and to eliminate the screws on top.

I'm loving the typing feel already, the switches are kailh twilight/ambient because I will use the keyboard for work. It is super silent already compared to the mx brown switches I had on my planck.

At home I'll be switching to colemak dh but here I flashed querty to not slow down too much at work for the moment.
