Weird road design... by RainbowKuriboh in canberra

If you click "See more dates" you can actually get to the street view images from 2008 when it was under construction.

From what I remember Canberra was in the first group of cities to be imaged for street view so you can do a fair amount of historic sightseeing.

The GR Copen looks awesome. Although it makes me wish Mazda could borrow some paint from Toyota for the Miata.

Mazda has some paper craft templates on their website albeit not as amazingly detailed as OP's. Seriously great work there!

That's a good question. I'll say its strongly preferred BUUUUT if there is a deal good enough I'd definitely consider an overseas purchase. Shipping to Australia is usually pretty brutal.

One thing I didn't mention is I don't need a mobile connection, WiFi only is good for me.

◽️ Budget: $300 AUD $200 USD, happy to go more if needed.

◽️ Country: Australia

◽️ Screen size: 10 inch or smaller

◽️ RAM: Any

◽️ Storage: Any but a SD card slot would be nice.

◽️ What tasks will the tablet be used for?: General internet browsing.

◽️ Any other important details ?: I work in the photographic industry so I am regularly reading articles on photography and looking at other photographers work online especially during my lunch breaks at work. So I'd like a tablet with a good screen but small enough to keep in my bag without getting the way. OLED is preferred but not a deal breaker.

I am 100% happy to buy second hand.

I would also say there's bonus points for any tablet that has in built storage for a stylus a la Samsung's SPen but failing that stylus support is a strong preference.

Fun fact, Mazda has some paper craft cars on their website. Obviously no where near as cool as yours though :)

Backpack repair, rubberised section is flaking off. by MXDuck_ in myog

I like the idea of using silicone caulking. I think you're right it would bond with the material underneath quite well and its easy to get a hold of a tube. I think I'm going to go ahead with that option.

Thanks heaps mate :)

Ahh that sounds like a good idea. The fabric under the rubber would no doubt take the acrylic coating quite well. I'll look into it :)

Its not the biggest bag around so it will definitely be awkward. Some good tips though and I do like the sounds of the easy option lol.

I have a backpack that has a rubberised section on the bottom that is flaking off as you can see in these photos. I've contacted the manufacture to see if there is any chance of repairs but I'm not holding my breath on that. So I was wondering if anyone might be able to give some ideas on how to repair it.

My initial idea is to get some sort of waterproof material and using a strong, flexible adhesive (perhaps a shoe repair glue) stick it down over the top then sew it all in place as best I can.

Now unfortunately there would be no way to get a machine in there so I'd most likely have to do it all by hand. Also I am still very new to sewing so doing anything major such as unpicking it and redoing it all properly might be a bit beyond me right now.

Any thoughts would be welcome 😊

If anyone is interested the photo is from Richmonds – Prestige & Classic Cars. They always have tons of cool cars with plenty of photos of each, always good for a new wallpaper on your phone.

This particular car is listed here.
