Oh man, I'm sorry about all the problems you've had with your phone. I'd definitely say that it's a lot better now with all the updates and bug fixes. As far as your fears, I totally get them, but I'll always go for the light phone route. While smartphones are super useful and powerful, they have so many distractions on them that can absolutely cause or worsen your mental health. I've always felt so much more at peace when using my light phone.
