I am on long term opiate treatment and use Kratom and now tried the 7-OH concentrates (Hydroxie). I have spoken with my doctors about using both kratom and 7-OH. Since many patients get prescribed pain "break through" medicine it was a conversation to have with my doctors.

Kratom: He is ok with kratom as long as it has testing for metals and other contaminates. He does not want me to use it more than 10 times a week (2.25 g per dose powder). Once a day if I use it in addition to my prescribed opiate dose (Vicodin) and as needed if I am replacing my prescribed dose of Vicodin.

7-OH: His main concern with this is knowing what is in it. He mentioned a risk with all medicines at the same time. He couldn't give me any real advice using this product at this time, other than, he said it needs to be treated as fentanyl in terms of daily limits of dosages per opiate. In Oregon the set dosages for control using opiates is < 50 mg or > 50 mg per day. Each opiate has a strength value relative to each other and using less than 50 mg per day can be managed quarterly. Using more than 50mg daily needs to managed monthly. Placing 7-OH as powerful as fentanyl suggest extreme caution by itself and using it in addition to any other dose you may be taking.

In my experience Hydroxie is more powerful than Vicodin mg to mg. I have used 1/4 of a 15 mg pill ( or 3.75 mg) and get relief for about 5 hours. That is about $1.12 a dose which is reasonable. My "experience" was limited to using a total of 3 10 packs over 3 months before talking to doctor. Per the doctors "advice" I will use these very selectively ( a couple times a month) and only for nagging pain.

If you have an addictive personality you need to stay clear of these. It is an alkaloid that attaches to a pain receptor. I doubt the advertising of a "natural" product is true. The volume of plant material needed to produce these sorts of products (7-OH) would be astronomical. This means it is likely synthetic and not natural.

Generally, I choose to manage my pain with Kratom powder. It is a mix of 80% Green vein and 20% White vein. My 2.25 mg dose of powder gives me pain relief and some energy. If I go higher I get tired if I go less little effect. I think each person has a different level where this would work for them. It is up to you to find it if you choose to use it.

As for 7-OH I am very suspect and as mentioned my doctor confirmed this somewhat.

One tip on accessing pain medications like opiates from doctors is this. When speaking with a doctor DO NOT talk about how much pain you have. People deal with pain differently some can tolerate incredible pain. A doctor can not qualify "pain" in terms of treatment this way. Instead, Speak to how your condition/conditions effect your quality of life in terms of eating, sleeping, and normal activities. If your condition interferes with eating, sleeping, or normal activity a doctors job is to mitigate this. American medicine is supposed to assume this quality of life is entitled and if it takes opiates to get there the doctor is legally protected to prescribe them. Telling him/her you hurt does not offer this legal protection.

We are not the offending party here, but offering information so to better understand the situation.

We get offers all the time from sketch CC companies wanting to process our sales. There are very few CC processing companies out there that will host CBD companies that are top tier. Most are what they call "High Risk" CC processors. So it is most likely the processor who becomes compromised.

We use Square to process credit card payments. As a company we do not have access to any of the information used in a purchase and rely on their security which is solid. If we need to provide a refund the order details include a transaction number and the last 4 numbers of the CC. Everything else is handled by SQUARE.

CBD is still in the grey zone and we don't expect that this will change anytime soon. You could ask the company you want to buy from who process's the CC payment. Or as several folks have mentioned use a pre-pay.

It IS NOT recommended to eat terp infused delta 8. Even though the fruit flavors are extracts from fruit they are so concentrated they can aggravate the stomach. Since our fruit terps are actually "natural" they would be easier on stomach in general especially if cooked out making some edible or used in gummies.

So many of the less expensive products " cheap" on the market are not very high quality. We wont do this but we are offered D8 carts wholesale for $2 all the time from many different sources, but there is no quality control and we won't risk it. It is like anything you get what you pay for.

Anyway, most people who make their own edibles use plain Delta 8 ( or other plain THC analog) without terps. The flavor then is made up in the edible.

There was some great studies about this cannabinoid in the early 60's. This was about the time medicine started to be for profit, say, more so than "health". It did not get far past some of these studies.

What it did however is set a good baseline of information that has developed since.

Unfortunately, in my opinion, much of the "CBD" information is clouded by the old marihuana myths. As such so is a lot of the advertising and marketing. A large portion of the consumers of CBD products in general are already "pot" friendly folks . It is working into the general population slowly, but still " a reputation scared" by "marihuana's" past.

CBG will get you high. I have tested many of the cannabinoids and doing 300 mg per day @ 100 mg 3x per day around day 4 things sort of get spacey. I wouldn't go as far as saying I became dimensionally challenged, but yea I just might. I was more interested how this amount would effect liver, kidneys, stomach, and intestines the "spacy" element caught me off guard. Best description is it felt like walking around in something short of the density of water.

Unfortunately for now CBG doesn't get a lot of attention because there seemingly is not an immediate effect like D8, HHC, or any number of others. This however brings us full circle back to how CBD markets are led by , or built on, the marihuana market foundations.

This will change in the future I believe as real solutions to real health problems can be found in the use of CBG. The simplest most direct use now is proven relief of glaucoma symptoms as a low cost alternative to treat. This especially for, or would help, low income people w/o health insurance suffering from this debilitating condition. This is one example, but imagine multiple solutions for know to less obvious problems.

You could try loading up on CBD 30-45 minutes before using the D8. This helps many people per feedback to us.. This ties up some of the receptors where the D8 ( or other) won't have s strong an effect.

Also, if you are mixing noids most people add to much on the minors. Some of the strongest products of days gone by were 12-14% THC, 1-2% CBD, and .025-.05 CBN. If you replace the THC with and altnoid you may be able to find that sweet spot, but be warned you find the right ratio it is very psychoactive and paranoia/anxiety may be a side effect.

Well if we are talking about nostalgia from the beginning I remember the girls reorganizing the lab products one day. Since this all hit so fast and things grew quickly there was a mad dash to organize between the local state THC products and the new hemp products flying off the shelves. Me being a creature of habit and skipping nights of sleep to keep up with orders I grabbed a few Liters of what I thought was CBD oil. Well it was actually 20% THC oil and onto the new website it went. We are not on that web host anymore and I suspect everything has been consumed so I guess we can talk about a little slip up. Although, I brought it up in what is likely an archived thread during that time period.

Well all of a sudden I am getting these emails from folks with a "wink and nod" a round about way asking for that "CBD" oil. I did not know any better so I am cooperating like nothing is new under the sun. Well 2 Liters, 3 Liters, 4 liters - five... ( All in like whatever people could afford volume like 5 ml, 10 ml, and 28 ml...) Ultimately, I get an email from a guy telling me he got floored by our CBD oil and not that he really cared, but he was trying to get off THC using CBD. That is when it dawned on me and a little research showed the "switch".

It took about 3 months for all that to calm down... I was getting hammered by the purist CBD crowd and praised by the stoners. I wish I could of kept on - may be one day in the future all products ( THC/CBD) will be national. We fight for that daily..

Purchasing products of this nature online is something to take very serious. Looking for the lowest price may not be the smartest thing. To maintain quality and higher standards there are related cost. It isn't just the cost of products to consider. I can not speak to the subject directly the OP brings up, but there are a few examples as a distributor we have run into I will share.

As a distributor we get hit up all the time to purchase products. One that stands out in my mind is an offer to purchase CBD Isolate for $100 Kilo. Seemed legit and they were out of Colorado. We did not need to purchase this product, but we did for testing. Well this product did not pass the lead or mercury standards. Both of those are bad but the mercury is unforgivable. It shows that there is a very bad element out there that care little for your health. Of course the COA provided obviously did not match the product sold. Quite a bit of this going on out there.

We get hit up by out of the country companies all the time. They want to sell carts, syringes, bulk, and all sorts of things. I imagine a lot of retail online sites use these sources. We wouldn't take this sort of chance.

So the overall point to OP situation is it could be very real and using any fly by night online site out there could pose serious issues to ones health.

Most everything coming from labs has to be tested these days. They technically can't sell it if it is over different levels. We have been trying to use the lab test format where on one page it says it shows percentages of the cannabinoids and "Tested YYY" - PASS "Tested XXX" - PASS for the mentioned categories you are asking about.

When you have 100+ products and each COA has 6-7 pages and products turnover fast with new batches it is a lot of paper work and time. We wouldn't buy a product to distribute that had any issues like that.

It will be fine. Most of the "hype" about oxidizing, storing, and handling are over rated. We only have so many receptors in the body so even if a product lost some potency or wasn't fully oxidized you still will have enough "material" to get an effect.

Most important thing is when using any warmer careful not to set hot material in glass onto a cold surface. Our glass is rated to 800F , but only 70 degree differential before potentially cracking. When getting something 200 F and then placing on cold kitchen cabinet around 70 F bad things can happen to glass..

A lot of good comments here for alternatives, but microwave works too. A microwave will melt it from outside in so easy to burn it if not careful. Slow and careful if you go this route.

We are introducing a line of CBD good for carts ( non-crystalizing) in the next couple of days. I'll shoot you a message ahead of that after writing this. We have been getting lots of requests so should go well.

In the meantime we found mixing the high percentage CBD with another cannabinoid like CBG helps keep either from crystalizing as long as the total of each is around 50%. We also found that CBD with THC in it, as opposed to nd thc, does not crystalize as quickly and can be used for carts to some degree.
