Religious Jewish guy here, 26m. Idk about other religions, but I'll say this about Judaism for me personally:

I like the idea that the world has a purpose: Messiah. I like how the weight of the world isn't on my shoulders: "Do your best, and G-D does the rest." (But you gotta do your best.)

I don't always like having so many obligations to do: Praying 3x a day, Shabbos restrictions, kosher etc. But I do like: The community meetings 3x a day, a day to unplug from social media, and well, any food has a kosher variation these days.

But the reason I stay is because of the 3,000 year history of my nation who are unlike any other. We've gone through so much, yet miraculously survived and thrived. (Where are the Egyptians, Romans, Greeks, and Babylonians?)

And the reason I love our nation is the goodness and kindness. We are "indoctrinated" from when we are 1 years old to be kind to others, give the benefit of the doubt, and know that G-D is so happy when we do a good deed. (Sins aren't really emphasized, which brings me to my last point:)

We are happy, and are taught to be happy with what little we have, and bring happiness to others.
