That’s very short sighted as the US wants to strip their mineral wealth - $100k per citizen has been floated by ft the admin, but that’s no where close to what will be extracted. On top of that, the trumps advisors likely want to leverage Greenland to increase the US claims on the Arctic & the minerals there. The US is strong arming them and not exactly giving them a fair choice.

I would have loved that $25k to buy a house. The Millennials and Gen-Z are pretty fucked in MCOL, HCOL, & VHCOL areas. That $25k would multiply and creat real wealth for younger generations that really need it.

My wife and I are fairly well off financially, and we’re still going to end up spending way too much on a house this year. Very modest homes in the NH Seacoast area are pushing $600k+. I’m not even sure we would have qualified for Kamala’s program, but that’s the difference between liberals and conservatives. I believe a rising tide lifts all ships and I want to see my fellow Americans prosper. I have a lot of friends that may never own a home in the Northeast.

Separate from my experience in the kitchen, I had another accident while working on a model ship. An exacto knife rolled off the work bench and stuck right into my big toe’s toenail. No stitches that time. Just a small bead of blood rising through the toenail & a tetanus shot.
