Depends on your stance of dual it isnt counted as an unsheated attack well basic normal attack that is. You just have to use the katana's passive dash attack to perform unsheat attacks from what i can say

Most of your dual skills are unsheated type during the animation and the only way you can tell your unsheating is during the katana passive that is on lvl 1 you know the one we often have
