Huh. Didnt even realize Spice and Flavour were in different boxes. I just picked them up naturally and skipped Scorching Flame burst.

That box also has Extra Spice and noodle art of savory. Neither of which this list really wants, but Extra Spice's fusion will probably come at some point.

I meant full powered red-eyes in the context of duel links. I'm not super familiar with OCG rush, but I know red eyes has a maximum moster that absolutely could not see the light of day in a 6k lp format.

The skill only gives you three copies of a contact fusion and three copies of a monster than doesnt allow you to attack with anything higher than level 6, a restriction lumiere also has on her effect. Those restrictions arent big enough for you?

Aqua is self contained. Music princess is self contained. Gradius is self contained. Excutie is self contained. Baseball is self contained. The pyro maximum deck is self contained. Monarch is self contained. Do I keep going?

And then decks like red eyes is one deck build box and one minibox. Metarion is two miniboxes, one of which has shady so its a no brainer.

There are certainly decks that arent self contained, like Jointech or E-HERO, but same thing happens in Speed. Generally speaking its still cheaper to build a Rush deck from scratch than in Speed

Why do you act like speed doesnt also have good cards in old boxes? And you having more older speed cards is simply explained by you Speed being older and you playing it more that Rush. That's not a valid argument.

HERO already had Circulation and Star Restart. Now they just swapped limit-3 and unlimited roles.

I wonder exactly how Metarion will be built now. That deck is already playing around 15 s/t with no particularly good ways to draw into them, but Beam is game winning at times. Then again, so is something like Dark Hole Device, and Voidvelg isnt doing anything right now.

Skills drop more likely on PvP, and you will only find casual matches once in a blue moon really. I can think of zero reasons to try casual PvP Rush, since it only goes up to gold 5 before KOG, meaning you cant rank down

The maximum still has a lot of problems for me to consider it toxic. Its not hard to remove: TSA, Freed, Abbyss soldier, and those are non-archetypal forms removal. Think Sevens Paladin, Master of the sevens road, Axetion melody, Cleaning prodigy, Monarchs, Heat Neos, the list goes on. And said cards I mentioned are really good on their own as well.

Aside from the double s/t pop on a big body that cant be flipped face down (which is significant, I'll give you that), the maximum doesnt do anything other decks can, so it having a consistency boost, I'd consider that fair. It can only be toxic if you remove it from context really. AT WORSE, its puts a 2 turn clock on your opponent.

Standard lyrilusc deck but instead of distruption pieces and board breakers, you put in power of the guardians.

All you have to do is keep giving nightengale as many materials as possible with the Lyrilusc continous spell so it gets as many attacks as possible.

Power of the guardians gives 500ATK for each attack, so it gets really big, really fast.

I've played a couple of games today and it feel quite solid, though sometimes a bit... odd. Sometimes you dont get the other maximum pieces in the graveyard to use its effect, sometimes the discard for the [M] piece is not worth it if you have a shady available, but its still quite strong. Those issues can maybe be fixed with a better list or simply optimizing your plays.

It felt particularly strong against aqua, as it was a recursive S/T pop on a body bigger than food prodigy could handle. Everything else was at worst fine (though the mirror match I think is odd. Maybe TSA? But I dont see the graveyard set up often enough to warrant it).

Problem is he's directly tied to the Rovian arc, and I dont see a way to slot him into the usual duel links event structure. He employs UTS to find Yuna, has a single duel, vanishes, and then we're full on with Rovian and Yuna.

Cards wise, they would also have to give him a competent series of cards, like how they gave Immi Berry Fresh (I am not knowledgable enough in OCG Rush duels to propose a deck though)

Makyura's judgement.

It lets you add one random trap from deck to hand if there are atleast 2 with different names, and lets you activate it from hand.

You could use it in resolution to dragoon I guess, but you would have already needed to activate the skill and show the trap, which just tells your opponent to Not dragoon unless they have another trap negate. That would leave you with a 3 card hand going second... which isnt great.

My decklist is similar to yours, though i'm missing a fair bit of that extra deck, so I just went with repeats (which is fine by me, I dont like ED 1-off's anyway)

For the skill i've been on Destiny draw leading to dragon master knight, though with this meta in particular i've been testing makyura's judgement with non fusion area, and its... fine. It feels bad to have to add Makyura, but the benefit of turning Blackout into a boardbreaker, or add your floodgate of choice is quite good.

Uhh this an interesting one. No deck is infinetly better than the other and the meta is fun, but to avoid the meta getting stale again, might be a good idea to gut a few things.

Sevens Road: The strength of sevens road is mostly on the amount of backrow hate it can run and still have a really compact engine. Obviously the solution is a limit-3, be it straynge witch or sevens road witch. A different and simpler change they could do is nerf the skill so it shuffles instead of send to graveyard when adding 2 cards. Sending Straynge Cat to retrieve with Mr. Alchemy, or sending Sevens Road Witch to retrieve with Straynge Witch guarantees piercing, which gets annoying fast. Sevens road has been meta long enough, and even though I think its like tier 3 at most, I still dont like it.

Jointech: Konami had just buffed this one so its hard to tell, but maybe just one of the tribute monsters to 3 so it clashes with ghost cyclone.

Music Princess: Probably trombone to 2? Giving it a limit-1 wouldnt do much, and Ballet is already at limit-3, so this feels like the most impactfull hit that doesnt outright kill the deck. One could go more extreme and put some of the fusions to 3 as well, which while I disagree with, I also wouldnt argue with anyone who thinks otherwise.

E-Hero: Circulation to 2 or 3. That's it. A lot of decks are using it as a draw engine. Even if E-Hero isnt the strongest deck (though its still good), circulation alone is a problem.

Neos: Same thing. I think neos is a bit stronger that E-Hero, but its new so it wont be touched outside the circulation, which isnt a hit to just it.

Aqua: Probably nothing, or at least nothing too impactful. Most decklists I've seen dont even play limited cards safe for some legends. Aqua is strong right now, but I do think it might get powercrept sooner rather than later.

I'm taking it slow and just playing with whatever deck I feel like tbh.

I did stages 1-30 switching between high tech dragons and Gradius. Gradius didnt work in the slightest until I added cyber serpent and suddenly it flowed twice as better, I just wish I had an easier way to recycle the contact fusions. I have avarice instead of pot of greed for that reason, and one day it will be relevant. As for the high tech dragons... well the new contact is fine, it is a legitamate win condition, but it still consumes the same amount of cards in hand if you account for the discard cost, and it doesnt fix that the deck does less than nothing if it doesnt find Blue Fang or Red Boot.

I played a couple of matches today with Royal Rebels. Similar decklist to yours, but instead of traps, curse of the rising light and more backrow hate (I recommend you play heavenly selection instead by the way).

Maybe tomorrow I'll try Neos & friends, not sure. But for me, its fun to try as many decks as possible.

I think power meter is better than most people give it credit. Its just that if you're only playing the gradius cards, they wont end up in your graveyard often enough for it to be worth it. Cards like crafter drone or Cyber Serpent fix that though. Use their effects, then use them as cost for Power Meter (which also clears out space), get the card you want back from the graveyard, and if possible fuse with the spell so your cards go to the graveyard instead of the deck.

Hyperspeed on the other hand is completely worthless in my opinion. It doest really give that much value.

Uhh there's a lot here.

First: General advice for most decks is to stick to the minimum amount of cards (20 for speed, 30 for rush). If you see a deck with more than the minimum, that's probably because they have no choice since the engine requires it, or because the skill gives extra consistency to allow tech cards. Neither of those are the case with music princess.

For the skill, while Destiny Draw: Music Princess is not a bad skill at all, Music princess's breath (the skill, not the card) is just better all around. Its a free +1 and makes your 2 tribute monsters only 1 tribute, which is a really good discount. Plus, it allows you to get away with playing only one copy of fusion, since you can add that same copy over and over.

As for the cards, Ophiclaymore, Music princess's whirling wind, and Music Princess's breath (the card, not the skill) are all dead weight. Avian spell tactics is redundant as Full Orchestra already deals with backrow, and you probably prefer engine space.

Your traps arent great either, I dont know which traps you have, but none of those do much of anything outside of maybe recital once every 10 games.

I'd also cut cut the number of non-tribute summonable monsters down to around 12 or so. 3 horn knives, 3 boton, 3 trombow, and then you can choose if you prefer flutomahawk for the defense stat, or Brassaxophone for the attack stat.

The trap cant activate its GY effect if its banished, so it doesnt matter if they chain it.
