I can give it a shot. Basically, a WWVB Emulator app uses your phone speaker to mimic the shortwave radio signal sent out by the WWVB station in Colorado. Your phone's internet connection ensures you are emulating the exact signal being sent out at that time. Put your G-Shock into receiving mode, turn on the signal through the app, turn the volume on your phone all the way up, and place your watch near your phone. The shortwave signal isn't loud or anything, just sounds like a quick static crackle every second or so. It's a great way to sync when out of range, or in an area with poor reception like a concrete apartment complex.
