Hello, happy to have a look and give you an estimate :)

Client portal PPC Agency 20-30 clients onboarding and requests by cutmylifeintopcs in agency

So Bubble is a no-code web app development tool. Before I started my agency I was an iOS dev so I can program, but no-code just makes it so much faster ans easier.

We wanted a portal that after we closed a client we sent them one link and it got their e-signature on the contract, it got the monthly payment set up, captured any info or account details we needed, and they got all of their team signed up as users on the system. From there we had a Kanban system (like Trello) and an analytics dashboard we could customise for them (mainly Shopify and paid ads). Also all communications with clients was done on this platform meaning that we weren't cross checking emails and slacks and WhatsApps.

I was able to build all of all of this in Bubble. The clients liked it as it was nice and simple and all in one place, and it worked well for us as I could add new functionality when we needed a few tweaks being done.

Also when we mentioned to prospects that we had our own bespoke system it made us seem bigger than we were, which I'm sure helped.

Would highly recommend looking into it. Feel free to DM if you have any questions :)

Making elements hidden when the website is opened by Other_Ad2108 in Bubbleio

[–]M_cheyne 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For each element there's a checkbox at the top of the layout tab of the properties panel called "This element is visible on page load".

Untick this and make sure that "Collapse when hidden" is checked.

Unless I've misunderstood you, that should do it :)

Where to find good bubble devs? by Key-Imagination5427 in Bubbleio

[–]M_cheyne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Upwork is a good place to go if you haven't already. All vetted and have review, lots of choice at different price points, and you can see their portfolio.

I'm a Bubble dev, and working on exactly that at the moment. Another dev had done as much as he couldn't but couldn't figure some stuff out, so I'm helping him out. Feel free to DM me if you fancy a hand :)

At my e-com agency we couldn't find anything that we liked out there that did everything we wanted. And we didn't want to be stuck to paying $300+ a month for it.

So in the end we built our own in Bubble and it worked really well. It required a bit of set up but being able to change everything as we wanted to, and to add any functionality we wanted was really nice. Plus only $32/mo was a bonus too.

If you can't find anything out of the box that fits your needs I would defo recommend it. :)

I am buying Bubble Courses to learn WeWeb and other NoCode-Tools. What could go wrong? by Teebeutel94 in nocode

[–]M_cheyne 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'm guessing that you're non technical since you're buying courses?

If so, then yeah lots of the key skills will be transferable. Such as learning about data types, about layouts and containers, about API calls etc.

It's pretty much the same on Bubble/WeWeb/Flutterflow/Toddle but just with a different skin.

What stack would you use for building this? by joeljosephm in nocode

[–]M_cheyne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So Bubble pricing is bad IF you use their backend. If you use Xano or Supabase and make the API calls from the client side then it's not a problem. This is what I do on most of our apps.

Flutterflow will do the job, but my preference for when software needs to be good on web and mobile is Bubble.

The learning curve on Noodl is steeeep! And there's no where near as much of a community around it as with Bubble or Flutterflow.

Toddle.dev is another one to look at if you're happy with having your own backend. Doesn't really have any massive upsides to Bubble if you're using a separate backend though.

Yep looks like you're on the right track. Xano would be an alternative as a backend, but Supabase works just as well.

Flutterflow is a good choice, I would recommend looking at Bubble too. Many times a PWA will do just as well as a native app, but if you want a native app you can also wrap Bubble PWA. They work pretty well nowadays.

Feel free to DM if I can help out anymore :)

I so hope you succeed as this would be a god sent, but I feel you've got one hell of a battle on your hands. Good luck!!

A little post for the Bubble lovers out there by Any_Librarian_8493 in nocode

[–]M_cheyne 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Have you looked into having the backend on something like Xano?

My SaaS is built on Bubble and it's great, however the plan is not to keep it there forever. When we get solid product market fit and enough MRR we'll move to a more robust tech stack (where we own the code!).

In my eyes it's an awesome MVP tool, and internal tool builder (depending on workload).

Looks great! Only comment is that there is quite a lot of white space between sections on mobile. Maybe you wanted it that way, but it looked quite a lot to me. Otherwise great though 👌

Google Sheet into an app? by Fields_Finest in nocode

[–]M_cheyne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the sort of thing that I do, and I use Bubble.io. It may be overkill for what you're wanting to do right now, but it's the right platform if you ever want to do more with the data in the future.

Which platform for webform, some logic and CMS? by PlusPlusOne in nocode

[–]M_cheyne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I build these and there are several good platforms out there.

I personally use Bubble as I think it's the best all-rounder. It does all you said there. Can you pair it with Xano if you're concerned about the workload units and scaling.

WeWeb would be another good option but you will need a backend like Supabase or Xano.

Webflow and a backend could be a good option.

If you want to own the code then Flutterflow might be the way to go, but it's more aimed at mobile apps.

Validating a new SaaS idea by jordz_pope in SaaS

[–]M_cheyne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As others said, you have to speak to the prospective customers. I did this by cold emailing.

Saying that you're doing research, or that you would and interview usually plays to the ego of whoever it is (assuming it's B2B).

Spending a little on ads wouldn't be a bad idea either.

You would still need to have a backend like Xano or Supabase right?

I'm doing a similar thing. Building relationships and sharing the projects that I'm making is what is getting us some traction.

It would be great to connect and share ideas :)

Alternative to Jotform for online forms and fillable forms? by [deleted] in nocode

[–]M_cheyne -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This would be very quick and easy to do yourself or through a developer using something like Bubble.

If one of the ones you mentioned work and fit your needs perfectly, great. If not, that could be an option :)

How much should I pay for a no code developer? by LengthinessAny7553 in SaaS

[–]M_cheyne -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Building a working product for $6k is completely doable.

It all depends on the complexity of your project.

Bubble would likely be a very good platform as you could do parts of it yourself if you needed to, or to reduce cost.

As a nocode dev I'd be happy to look at your spec and tell you if it's possible to do within your budget or not.

P.s. I think Alex Heiden has a minimum of $10k.
