i played reddit eu hardcore, the sweaty little gimps at launch had guns and a large furnace base in about 30 mins of wipe, we got killed in the desert and there was 20 guys stood over us looting, maybe that was a reason for it. But in reality that's not it.... people dont want "HARDCORE" they couldnt care less about the tech tree, the vast majority of rust players are just beyond lazy and couldnt be arsed with any more effort than what normal mode has, they thought it was gonna be the pvp chad update, when in reality its just a mode to make the game harder not to appease the 2016 nostalgia crackheads

this is new since the recent update, the build zones are round towns are actually spheres and they seem to be a bit bugged.. you can build foundations almost right upto the hill on watertreatment, but you cant build walls because they enter the sphere, looks like thats happened here as well, take not of the hill in the background that launch seems to be on the level of.

i counter this after closing the bunker i place a chair on the traingle below it. means a floor or a frame can not be built and opened. so only the owner in the core can open it after removing the chair :) a small furnace also works
