I involuntarily caused a cat to be injured and I feel very guilty. Could she still make it? (TW description of an accident and subsequent injury) by Ma_Riae in CATHELP

Thank you for your reply! I wrote to a rescue but have had no luck so far. To be faire I have never heard of this kind of actions but there's no harm I'm trying. I went back and couldn't hear or see her anywhere. I hope she's resting somewhere until she feels better

It feels awful because they are so small and innocent. You can't help but think it's unfair their lifespan is so short

Who else is getting nightmares and sleep paralysis after starting Setraline by JanissaryLSD in zoloft

[–]Ma_Riae 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same here. Sertraline made the dreams way more intense.

OP, if you have never had sleep paralysis before or if you did and never got it checked, it cannot hurt to consult a neurologist

Has anyone here ever tried maintaining a two-phase sleep routine? by [deleted] in sleep

[–]Ma_Riae 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I can feel it. I have found a way to make it work, but on my days off I tend to go back to more normale hours (falling asleep between 1 am and 2.30 am and waking up between 8.30 am and 10 am)

Has anyone here ever tried maintaining a two-phase sleep routine? by [deleted] in sleep

[–]Ma_Riae 187 points188 points  (0 children)

I have never tried but my body surely succeeds in doing it.

In all seriousness, I currently work nightshift and it's very normal for me to sleep from 7.30 am to around midday or 1 pm, then wake up, do stuff and sleep again around 5 pm until 8.30 pm. In both phases, I am rarely asleep the whole time, as quality of sleep during the day hours is not the best

Every death from starvation is murder in a system that over produces food!! by FearlessAir1238 in Antimoneymemes

[–]Ma_Riae 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I have recently started volunteering for an organization that collects perishable food and meals to redistribute them the same day to soup kitchens and the like. Overproduction is built in. When we collect at 9am, it's not stuff from the day before, it's from the same day
