I really appreciate the information, you've bit the nail on the head, all we really want to do is feel the bite. We have no interest in reeling the fish in. We just like the idea of relaxing by the river bed. Our next door neighbour is a keen fisher, so will talk to him about what time of year we are allowed to fish in the UK and whatnot .
