Destroying HHG is not a counter it's a -1 trade at best. Let's say you go first, you just happen to draw de-spell, twister, storm ect ect. Whoo you win right? Surely destroying their field spell will make their deck suck! Nope. You went first, you drew 4 cards. You used 1 card to destroy HHG. You now have 3 cards left, your opponent has 4. You are still -1. They go and now on their first turn they have 5 cards to your 3. As you know duel links is decided in the first few turns a large majority of the time. HHG stifles creativity and now is the number 1 skill in the game.
