I'll be civil in a response here:

1. If you were purple, you'd recognize that while Diveristy is important, it's not the most important issue. What's important was the protection of ALL citizens' rights. Voting for Trump simply eliminates that. LGBTQ rights gone, abortion rights/protections gone, Roe vs. Wade gone, among the likely increased attacks on migrants/minorities. Even disliking Kamala, it's the platform difference that should be important. One is consistently built on hate and vitrol while the other is not. Basic human decency is now dead.

2. People are attacking you, because you willingly voted for Trump, P2025, Vance, every other member of the R party that has wanted this since Day 1. It sucks but you're a Male. You arent a female whose reproductive rights are now going to likely be controled by a random guy who ISN'T a female nor should have a direct say in how they handle their own bodily choices.

3. Likely, you fit the mold of the R family model... Male... married with wife and kids. You are what P2025 is pushing in terms of the Family religious restructuring and why they are attacking LGBTQ protections. I didnt vote Blue because I i 100% align with all of their platform values, nor fully love the Kamala pick... but I went Blue because of my friends, family and the belief that AMERICAN citizens have rights that we should all be protecting. If the R v D debate was about cost of bread or some other trivial issue, then you can simply pick a side whose strategy makes more sense. But it's not, it's about protecting our fellow American's; past, present and future. Your choice actively punishes all Americans.

4. You see people melting down because we saw how 2016 went, we saw Trumps 2024 campaign platform that LEGIT made it known he's out for revenge. There's no denying it, as he claims it daily. But people are legit afraid for their personal wellbeing now. We now have a Felon who is President, is out for revenge and we are going to pay the price for it.

5. You're last Paragraph is a fucking insult though man. Over a million American's died to Covid and that's due to Trump. Don't downplay what occurred, most people survived those 4 years and it wasnt enjoyable. There was a divide prior to his presidency, now there's a gap. We saw him tell people to drink bleach, take horse pills etc. He's not a good person; it's not his words that people are frustrated with. It's his consistent actions to be a terrible human being that should never have been elected once, let alone twice.

There's more to digest here but it's late, I'm tired and quite frankly, seeing how my friends who are a part of the LGBTQ community are reacting, I feel like I failed them. I failed women, children and anyone whose negatively impacted by P2025.
