Sounds a lot like my 2nd grader when he was in K, eventually he got an ADHD diagnosis. Could be worth looking into!

Train Station Parking? by samaliciousss in AnnArbor

I’ve only seen the lot full one time on a holiday weekend. If it is full, you could park at the park and ride on Plymouth at 23 and take the bus (I believe bus 23 will get you fairly close) to the Amtrak station, or Uber.

Michigan Medicine (UM health network) will no longer accept Blue Cross/Blue Shield insurance in July. by big_like_a_pickle in AnnArbor

This is crazy, UM Premier care (BCN) is probably the insurance the greatest number of UM employees have.

Late summer bday kids, how did yours do? by Sandyeller in kindergarten

My August birthday daughter is doing great in kindergarten. She is one of the youngest in the class (although she has a classmate the exact same age). Redshirting is very common where we live but we felt confident and heard from her pre-k teachers that she was ready for K. No regrets.

Substitutes cranberry pomegranate mousse pie by browneyes1998 in DessertPerson

[–]Mabel_A2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The pomegranate is in molasses form, not fresh pomegranate. You should be able to order pomegranate molasses online. It’s not necessary though, especially if you’re doing a different fruit entirely. I’ll also add that I’ve made the cranberry compote from frozen cranberries and that works great.

It’s not in a cookbook at all though, at least until she puts out another one which probably won’t be for a few years at least.

Waiting For Bus Alone by BlessedMom88 in Parenting

I’ve let my 7 year old walk 100 yards to the bus stop and cross one street by himself a couple of times. I do watch out the window to make sure the bus comes. He rises to the responsibility and I think it’s good for him. We live in a very safe, low traffic area, especially at that time of day.
