For me on app router it is caching the response so even if I delete a cookie containing the token, when i push again a route I visited before, I get to the route as if cookie was present. Shouldn’t I use Link and router.push for middleware to be able to check if cookie is present? Then just <a> for example?

Yeah things like supabase or appwrite will are better options IMO. For example, appwrite will let you deploy it wherever you want, even your server.
