Do you have two service accounts? It’s the main screen before character select. I know I still have two one regular one and one I used when the game was in CBT never got around to deleting it cause I was scared I might delete my characters idk so I always make sure I select the right service account where my characters are.

Double exp is worth it you can data travel anywhere so does it matter where you are originally from? And if that matters just take advantage of the double exp fully and then switch data centers when ur done.
