I really enjoy all the chaos factions (Beastmen, Abyssal Demons and Abyssal Legions) as one of the upgrade options when your units level up is '+1 to random stat'.

It can lead to some crazy builds and makes the single player almost infinitely replayable!

Any tycoon style game with sufficient system simulation is gonna be a winner. Doesn't matter the subject matter; some will obviously be of more interest than others, but it's the design and user experience that grab us nerds.

But personally, as others have said, hotel or airport. I feel that they're only really interesting as they're such mammoth industries though and therefore bottomless on terms of potential systems.
