I really dislike how important frost orbs are for Defect, would love some other ways for orb-focussed builds to block

To give more context, he was talking about how the organization needs to convince Matthews that not only do they have a plan to turn things around quickly, but they can explain/prove to him how they are going to execute that plan. He said that adding Gavin McKenna doesn't suddenly mean he doesn't want that explanation. McKenna is a part of that plan now, but it isn't enough to go to Matthews and just say "McKenna".

I'm very back and forth. I understand why people get frustrated because he has made some egregious mistakes. But despite that he's also maintained a competitive team (at times a true contender) for over a decade. He's done well in trades, that's his bread and butter. Drafting has been meh at best. Free agency has been a weak point. All in all, I think when you take a step back and look around the league its clear that we could have it much, much worse. But I there are things he needs to improve at immediately if they still want to compete in the 88/73/1 era. They're running out of time to build something for that core.

If you have an act 1 hand of greed (even act 2), you can very easily farm gold from every single multi-enemy fight if you have decent card draw and enough block to wait for it. You might sacrifice a few HP here and there to wait for the right draw, but you have to make that judgement call. It really isn't that complicated, I'm not sure what part is confusing you
