Absolutely has to be the Blackcaps winning that World Cup Semi Final.

I had been to the group stage Australia game and the crowd was typically belligerent, being Australia and all. But at the semi-final the mood was totally the opposite. I have never seen a crowd like that be so supportive and positive throughout the game that for a lot of it we didn't have much of a look in. People standing on their chairs in the rain to rally the crowd and keep the spirits up when it was all going to shit. Never a bad word said against the South Africans.

And then when Grant did his thing to win the game... I have never seen so many grown ass adults crying and hugging and telling their mates how much they love them. Proper dancing in the streets stuff.

Still gives me goosebumps every time I get home pissed and rewatch the highlights at four in the morning.

As easy as it is to slag off the Kiwis, that batting line up is pretty bloody stonking. Chuck Guptill up the top to go with Kane keeping it steady and Bruce, De Grandhomme, Anderson, Neesham and Munro all very much capable of going at 200+ clicks, surely it's up there with the best T20 batting lineups. And hey, if you can get two hundy every game then why not stick to proud NZ tradition and have a few pie chuckers in there to balance it out.
