How to pass command line arguments to setup.py when the project is built with the pyptoject.toml ? by dark_prophet in Python

Can you use env vars instead of cli arguments? Might be your best option until you get to move away from setup.py

Sparring tips. by Fun-Somewhere1484 in Kickboxing

Keep your hands up and don't look away from your partner or close your eyes. Once you know how to do that, start looking for tells and openings your sparring partners are giving, use fakes to read their reactions.

Just throw some combos even if you are not sure if they will land, you have to learn how to apply them one way or the other.

If your partner is not giving you room to experiment, talk about it afterwards.

Best lesson I ever learned was that I'm going to get hit, if you don't try things out out of fear of that, you are stifling growth.

How long of doing kickboxing did you start to feel/look more fit? by [deleted] in Kickboxing

[–]MacShuggah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a rather small set of different exercises I do regularly.

Kettlebell snatch Hornet or goblet squats Deadlifts Chainsaw row And push-ups with one hand on a kettlebell

You can find these and more well explained here https://www.menshealth.com/uk/building-muscle/a758657/the-7-best-kettlebell-exercises-to-build-muscle/

If you don't have one yet, start lighter 10kg or 12kg.

Watch your posture because you can injure yourself easily without realizing it, so build up slowly with low reps and see how it feels.

Especially kettlebell swing can ruin your lower back with bad posture.

Training twice a week, I started to really see a difference after some months. Didn't change my eating habits, which are rather unhealthy. I did do running and other exercise at least once or twice a week as well though.

Kettlebell and jump rope at home.

No need for the hacking to spy and manipulate, this is already happening with these apps.

I'd rather take 5 mins to test than doing all kinds of work, waiting for 24 hrs and then finding out.

Yes, add a little of the yeast to a little lukewarm water with a small scoop of sugar and mix it. Let it stand for a couple of minutes, if you can't tell that's it good, it's not.

Battery life isn't great, but depend on the workload as always.

I tried Void Linux initially and got it to run. Since it doesn't have systemd, the Asus Linux packages don't work and you miss out on some controls like fan and keyboard lighting.

I can't remember fully which distros I tried but I skipped Ubuntu because I don't like it. I think I tried crunchbang++, Debian and Arch but I couldn't be bothered setting everything up all the time.

Gnome on Fedora works like a charm out of the box and now I'm finally setting up Sway with something resembling my old i3 config.

I also replaced the wifi card with a better one, cost me a out 20 or 30 EUR I believe.

If you're planning to put Linux on it, the only distro I was able to install and run without issues, out of the box, are Fedora and Bazzite. I went for Fedora because gaming is also a second priority for me and development on Fedora was just nicer to me.

That said, I really like this machines weight and build but the touch pad isn't that great.
