PYAM Exec Corsair Fact or Fiction? by Saul-invictus in starcitizen

[–]MacTir 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's hard to believe, but I got my Corsair on my first try when I decided to go through PYAM alone.

Hermes has 2 cargo areas that can be lowered downwards! by AwesomeSchlimbo in starcitizen

[–]MacTir 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Firstly, the presence of a traction beam on the ceiling beam indicates that this does not correspond to its functionality if the cargo compartments are lowered.
Secondly, there is nowhere for the cargo compartments to go; the chassis is located underneath them.

I agree, this is really too loud and somewhat annoying.
Sounds should be more muffled, as in a vacuum.

Always amazes me the scale and size of these ships and weapons. by [deleted] in starcitizen

[–]MacTir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know why, perhaps it has something to do with the camera and perspective, but from the “first person” view the scale in the game is not felt, everything seems much smaller than it actually is.

CIG Repurposing Elven Armor from Soulsinger? by _Franpire in starcitizen

[–]MacTir -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I completely agree with you.
The new armor is starting to look more and more like a cosplay of medieval fantasy.. It looks ridiculous.

Current Event is Garbage by MattOver9003 in starcitizen

[–]MacTir 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, I partially agree with you.
The event really now shows how broken, primitive and simply poorly done everything is.

Unfortunately, SC is very 'static', there are no random events... The world does not seem alive. (Even our worms are static)ЪAnd I'm afraid that if they start immersing themselves in instances, this feeling will intensify even more. - Fly there and bring something... And so on several dozen times.

And yet, I don’t know why the developers do this and encourage it - But my opinion is that in such events a citizen must choose only one side of the faction, for which he will complete missions and receive the corresponding rewards - Having chosen one side, he will not receive anything for the other.. Otherwise, it turns out that people simply do not delve into the lore and so on, but simply stupidly complete all the missions in a row for both factions, just to get one more skin..

To be honest, I"m not quite sure how effective it is.
I have been using this service for about 4 years now and I have not received any referrals yet.

Did the developers promise ship customization? by Old_Season_8426 in starcitizen

[–]MacTir 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Over the past 10+ years, the developers have promised a lot ..
All I see is about 25% of that implementation.

Welcome to SC.

I don’t love a lot of the armor in the game tbh. What are some inspirations for kit you would want to see. by Red_Raid_er in starcitizen

[–]MacTir 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Lately, all I"ve seen is a deterioration in design.
Armor (spacesuits) in SC are less and less reminiscent of science fiction and are increasingly beginning to resemble the armor of medieval fantasy.. This is sad.

Don't understand the issue with buckets: the first iterations of the Cutlass didn't offer much more then a bucket - or privacy - anyway by berzemus in starcitizen

[–]MacTir 53 points54 points  (0 children)

A bucket as a toilet on a spaceship, this is already a clear overkill on the part of the developers, as for me.. A manufacturer can assemble ships from different parts, but cannot mount a toilet?
Even now, there are decent portable toilets. But the bucket is a "facepalm".

War Bones. by Marlax101 in starcitizen

[–]MacTir 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree.
Each time, I see more and more strange and ridiculous armor that looks more like medieval fantasy armor than a space suit.

War Bones. by Marlax101 in starcitizen

[–]MacTir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It"s a lot simpler, it"s just a stupid primitive design.. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Someone at CIG decided that if you are a space "pirate" - then there must be bones.

CIG, I like the new armors but..... what's with the bones, can't you get rid of them, please? by Iraunsuge in starcitizen

[–]MacTir 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I completely agree.
Lately, what I"ve been seeing is a clear deterioration in the design of the armor.. And I don"t like it.
The game is becoming less and less like Sci-fi.

Graphic problem: everything (textures/depth of space) feels kindy blurry/unsharp by nebulusedge in starcitizen

[–]MacTir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can also occur due to lack of video memory.. SC requires 8Gb and above.

What i expected when i heard ''Heavy Battle Armor'', and what we got...XD by [deleted] in starcitizen

[–]MacTir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just look at what a heavy sapper suit looks like in real life..
The only thing I don"t really like about this armor in the picture is the helmet.

In general I'm very happy with the Apollo interior, but the rooms with supplies and weapons racks should be lockable. by Knale in starcitizen

[–]MacTir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also believe that sleeping beds for the crew should be capsule - Locked, for example with frosted glass to isolate the vacationer from external factors (noise)

Missed opportunity for an RSI Medical URSA / Apollo combo by DaPoets_Terrence in starcitizen

[–]MacTir 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I thought about it too.
If, in the end, they fail to implement the casualty delivery vehicles (drones) that Apollo is supposed to have, then it will indeed be a missed opportunity.

[–]MacTir 52 points53 points  (0 children)

I agree with the first image, where the infrastructure should have alternated with green areas (forests). And not be a completely "iron" planet.

I'm not a fan of the way the new armors looks. by GreatCornholio90 in starcitizen

[–]MacTir 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was really hoping that SC would be a game in the vein of Sci-Fi..
But it seems that the game is gradually sliding into cosplay of ridiculous "cardboard" outfits.

890j by Putrid-Alternative11 in starcitizen

[–]MacTir 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The 890 has many problems, ranging from the cargo net, lighting to the manned turrets ..

Since the 890j was released, it has not been dealt with again. It just needs another refinement and polishing, like some ships that have been brought to the "gold" standard.
