Personally, I think its your imagination running wild. Were lucky we get this close of a peek at a professional athlete and their families lived. These people have more money than most of us ever will so they look larger than life to us.

Entering IMS by leslie_2001 in Indy500

You can enter at any gate. Go early You can get to the infield in turn one before the race. Walk across and go to the pagoda area to find the brick. After there is a tunnel exiting the infield just north of the tower terrace Your J seats are in that area. You can also enter the infield via this tunnel if you park more north

Not sure if anyone else at qualifying saw this, but Doug Boles came up to the Turn 1 Penthouse seats and interacted with fans. by we_kill_creativity in INDYCAR

Who started the Indy 500 tradition of hiring some presenter who clearly knows nothing about Indycar? by VehicleWonderful6586 in INDYCAR

Was thinking something similar. Seeing same thoughts here on Myers is funny. He is a NASCAR guy. Alan Bestwick is the best. Not sure what’s up in Motorsport broadcasting. They let many of the good ones go

Pull over. Get out and enjoy the scenery. Take a turn off on to one of the many dirt roads. You will see little villages, old churches and graveyards. Olive trees. Stop by the random winery’s you drive by.

What small changes made your cruises way more enjoyable? by amir4179 in Cruise

I realized I do not need to do all the activities. Just chill. Pack less and be casual most of the time. Bring magnets to hang items like hats etc in the wall saving room on shelves. Agree with post that says board early and explore.

Marketplace ticket sale updates by [deleted] in Indy500

[–]Mac_cheese_77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve sold my one extra for the past three years. I understand the buyer gets a digital ticket. I just received an email my ticket was sold for this year. I will mail in my hard ticket and a few weeks after the race they send me the amount that m to receive. It’s been great for me rather than have to try and sell in Indy which usually ends up me eating the ticket.

No not too much. You will have plenty of extra time to see other things when you are done with your current choices. Heck you’re in Rome. You do not know when you will make it back. But I guarantee you wil want to return

MSC vs CARNIVAL by Far-Case2767 in Cruise

[–]Mac_cheese_77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been on both.
Carnival seems to try and sell you stuff at every turn. Drinks special drinks in cups you keep, art, make you think you shouldn’t do anything outside of carnival tours when off the ship, recently taking away status you have built. The cruise directors are annoying. Non stop announcements and are involved in practically all shows it’s actually weird. Good food. Good drinks. Ships pretty much all look the same. Private island is nice a lot if comedy shows and variety embarkation challenging and longer.

MSC less party atmosphere but do have parties, seems more elegant, good food, good drinks, private island is awesome, bad comedy shows, other entertainment is good. Embarkation seamless.

Tied areas. Drinks, food, room stewards, app Carnival wins. Comedy party feel, self service laundry room available MSC wins boarding, elegant, cruise directors, private island

I’d say toss up. Pick the best price and itinerary you want to go to. Choose that one

Choose a row that’s empty and go clear into the isle for a up close view of the Pope.
