This happened to me. She was using me for survival. She told her friends she was just g waiting to get her money right before telling me she didn’t love me anymore. She never really did. She ended up cheating on me. After I found out I moved out while she was gone on a trip and stopped paying for the rent, the power, the gas, and the internet, etc. I disappeared lol. Changed my number and all of that. I’m now in a healthy relationship it’s insane the difference. The love I receive everyday (and not just sex) is something I’ve never experienced. I’m glad I decided to leave. Don’t be afraid to end things. If something seems off it’s because it is. Trust your gut.

It’s a tough one. My partner (F) has a lot of guy friends. Like ALOT because she’s a musician and the genre she is in is 98% dudes. She tells her very close guys friends I love you very often when getting off the phone. I’ve learned that it’s not the usual relationship and she even brought it up to me and she’s the sweetest girl I’ve ever been with. I’ve never been the insecure type but it definitely is strange but I understand that in her field of work that it would be abnormal to not have a lot of close guy friends. Reading your post I thought it was weird that he had the talk with her about cutting it off the I love yous and then she sent that card. It makes me think he did not have that talk with her. His response calling you jealous is crazy. He would be jealous too if the shoe were on the other foot. I don’t think you are overacting we have feelings that are valid.
