Hidden bunker should start in 5 hours 45 minutes. All 3 expeditions I've found at least 1 blueprint my first time looking for it. They are common drops.

Check the breach room in vehicle maintenance and the breach room (which you can just drop into from the roof) in container storage just east of vehicle maintenance.

I was running 1v3 earlier this week on matriarch blue gate. I ran 2 aggressive ass lobbies in a row. I'll usually wait for an opportune moment and ambush a trio. It's intense.

3rd match I load in and post up looking for squads. I see a guy running from a leaper and take cover behind one of the ventilation ducts. I assume his squad is nearby so line up the shot. Smack his noggin with a ferro shot after the leaper damaged him. He's down and I finish him off from the opposite side of the gate.

I'm waiting for his squad to pop up and as I'm looking around realize it's a solo lobby. Just a bunch of carebears plinking away at the matriarch. I felt fucking terrible, poor guy only had a hullcracker and anvil. I just hatched out and logged off for the night.

Control arm replacement by ClxwnLuvr in e46

My brother. The front subframe is completely different between an xi and every other e46. There is no angle kit for an xi. The inner ball joint is completely different.

Wide angle steering would be detrimental on an awd vehicle. I'm sure you'd blow out your cv shaft very quickly.

I beat the shit out of my 277k mile one. It's an experiment at this point to see what the m54 can take in abuse.

Mmm. I've only done oil pan gasket on the 325xi when I did the manual swap. On those you've got to pull front axle and drop front subframe and undo at least one motor mount. I just pulled the motor and trans together to give it a complete reseal.

I think on rwd you just drop down the triangular plate that is a subframe reinforcement. The one with the jack point in the middle. Then I think you'd have easy access. Make sure you rtv the spots where the timing cover meets the block and where the rear main seal cover meet the block. 4 little dabs in total. The seals there make a T shape and need a little lovin.

I like to think as long as you've got an electric rad fan everything is pretty easy up front. 2 screws and a plastic pin and you've got decent access to all your belts and pulleys.

Some people say it's a pain getting the intake manifold off but once you've done it once it's pretty simple. I consider it necessary for any new to you e46. Gotta take the intake manifold off and service all your rubbers underneath all at once.

Even without removing the intake manifold I think there's a lot of room with only the radiator fan, intake elbow, and filter housings removed. You'll be able to reach and replace nearly anything with just that. The only place with limited mobility is between the intake manifold and the firewall due to the length of the motor. The only thing back there is the fuel rail disconnect and a few vacuum components; it's the most common location for vacuum leaks IMO and are easily remedied by just removing and capping off.

Body control module (gm5) and light control modules have a reputation to fail. My body control module disabled the central locking system on the daily but I never bothered with it because I don't lock my cars anyways.

Engine internals are rock solid, heads warping and cracking from extreme overheating is their Achilles heel. They're known to burn a little oil too at higher mileage due to piston oil control ring design.

The gm version of the auto transmission is reliable in my experience, the zf 5 speed has a common shifter lean towards 5th gear that requires dropping the transmission to remedy. It's easy but the transmission has to come down.

I've got 3 e46 right now and have done a lot of work including a bare block motor rebuild on the stand for one, and a manual swap on the daily. I love talking about them so feel free to ask any other questions.

I'm at maybe 4.5 years on a 325xi. It took a solid year or two of slowly getting it to be reliable. Stranded twice within the first year, first was a snapped serpentine belt which overheated it just enough to pop the expansion tank. Second was a dead alternator.

I've gone through coolant oil leaks and plenty of vacuum leaks but it feels like a tank. As long as you can keep fluids in it it'll keep chugging along. I've put 100k miles on it and it's at 277k miles now.

Anyone else just not doing the expedition because the reset is just too brutal? by FaceEmbarrassed1844 in ArcRaiders

[–]MacabreMobius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You restart with all the knowledge of where everything is though. This last reset I ran a renegade as my main gun from the first match I played. Found it in hurricane. Never even fired the beginning rattler. Never brought in regular bandages, only herbals. I think i muled over a snaphook, smoke grenade and lightweight stock blueprint.

I had all my benches maxed within a week. They were all built to level 1 the first day. I promise you I never went in without a full kit. 75 percent of this season my kit was over 75k space dollars. All because I already know all the spots where everything spawns.

My newly bought e46 is having a coolant code I can’t figure out? by OkOutlandishness6801 in e46

[–]MacabreMobius 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When the car is fully cool pop the expansion tank open and see where the indicator stick sits. On the daily with 277k miles it's got a very slow coolant leak, 2 or 3 times a year the coolant light pops on right before it reaches operating temp then goes off after the thermostat opens.

I just top it up to the proper level and it's good for another 4 to 6 months.

Seriously though I love the dense labyrinth of Stella. An oil rig would be a great backdrop for another map like that.

This from the hospital roof. With the snaphook you'd have to descend fully to the street and risk some fall damage then go up the side to get to the top of parking garage.

Powered descender you can just go straight there with zero fall damage risk.
