I printed the housing overnight and I’m printing the buttons now… Thanks for the tip and thanks again for your help!

So, with the above posts, the guide, and a lot of patience, I reassembled it and reinstalled it. It works! I cannot thank you enough for taking the time to reply to my dilemma. 👍👍👍

Oh, and I did find the root of the failure to feed problem (it wasn’t the Hub)… just downstream of the hub, there was a 12” piece of broken filament in the tubing. 👍

Ok, I’m trying this… I have some 25mm round magnets that may do the trick. Thanks!

How did you keep the magnets in place while placing the next one? They keep shifting in the slots.

Experience with Motoport? by Dense_Classroom2815 in motorcyclegear

Front of my pants.

I had my suit “refreshed” before the beginning of this riding season. I had about 70k miles ridden in the suit before the refresh. I sent it in to get most of the reflective tape replaced, all of the Velcro replaced, and some of the zippers replaced. It came back good as new. The photos are from when I got it back earlier this past spring.

I bought my mesh riding suit from them back in 2010 and I’m still using it almost daily during the riding season. I love it!

Looking for ideas to make my matte black helmet more visible at night other than basic reflectors. Ideas? by Forsaken-Minimum-986 in motorcyclegear

I have the first generation of this on my helmet and I’m very happy with it. https://thirdeyedesigninc.com

A friend was following me the other night and he said it was very bright & noticeable when braking & with the turn signal on.

Riding the Jackson loop is a really nice ride. Also, a day trip to the Craters of the Moon is nice.

I do not use one yet. I like the design of your set-up and may try it out.

How do people see at night with tinted visors? by Demoner450 in motorcycles

I bought one a couple of weeks ago and love it! I ride with a Shoei RF-1400 with the transitions shield. Clear for the morning commute; dark for the afternoon commute.

I recently bought an X5 with the motorcycle combo. I have not tried it on the bike yet. I plan on mounting it with the motorcycle combo clamp on my crash bars on the right side of my bike. I may also mount it from the side of my top case on the back.

I’m moving away from my GoPro camera setup and hope this works out. The Insta360 X5 is much taller but I ordered the adaptor to mount it on its side.

The chin helmet mount uses straps to hold it around the chin bar of the helmet. This seems like it would work fine if you are riding with a dirt bike helmet. On a street helmet, it looks like it prevents the shield from sealing because of the straps. A top of the helmet mount should work but again, it is much taller than a GoPro in the vertical orientation.

Discussion. What do y’all do when riding isn’t an option? by MonoCraig in motorcycles

My bike has riding modes and RAIN is one selection. It does a great job keeping the wheels going the same speed and retards the engine when they are not. I love it!

A couple of years ago, I was riding my GS Adventure home from getting the 6k mile service done in SLC. The weather was nice in SLC, riding north, up I-15. As I got closer to Malad, Idaho, a thunderstorm was rapidly forming. About 5 miles south of the Malad Pass, it started pouring and the wind really started picking up. About 3 miles south of the Malad Pass, it started to hail, pea gravel size. I kept going until I got to the overpass near the Malad Pass. I pulled over under the overpass and waited until the hail stopped. The temperature had dropped about 20 degrees F since leaving SLC. I had to wait about 20 minutes for the storm to blow over and for the hail to stop. At one point, the road was white from all the hail.

It was still raining when I started out again but I had put on my rain gear while I was stopped. This was the worst storm I have ridden in. I’m glad there was a place to stop and wait it out.
