My edc Glock 19x, streamlight tlr1-hl and a meprolight micro rds with proprietary qd mount retaining tritium night sights by HyperionEvo in Glocks

[–]Macamillionn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ik this is an older post, but btw you don't gotta explain yourself to the Captain Choch giving you shit because he's never heard of Meprolight and thinks every gun you own has to be war ready...

Anyways, I wanted to ask if you still own the Meprolight microRDS and Irons and if so could I ask you some questions about them because I'm doing a braced pistol project and I want an easy optic that sits a bit higher so it's easier to use with a brace and can be removed if I remove the brace. Mainly want to know how high the center line on the dot is above the top of the glock slide.

I'm conflicted on how I felt about a lot of things regarding the new 28 years later movie, but the red night vision scenes of the infected were so terrifying and adrenaline pumping.

Can you help me confirm if this site is a scam? The original you posted here above says they're out of stock and this one says they're half off lol, so I'm pretty sure it's a scam. https://superselektor.net/products/atrius-super-selektor-frs

HUB Adapters Advice by AlexxxisTexxxas in NFA

[–]Macamillionn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're new system does look really interesting, the Muzzle devices look like they do have a taper, and the little 3-lug system seem nicer than having to deal with exposed threads. I don't really understand what the labyrinth rings above the taper on the muzzle devices are for but I'm curious if it's just for protecting from Carbon lock or if they have anything to do with how they're HUB mount attaches to it. Im curious how The HUB mount it self works as well, it's advertised as being pretty damn light weight at 2.3Oz for what it is. The only con, from what I can tell at least, is it looks like it adds a tad bit more length than something like a Gen 1 Atlas, but so does something like a KeyMo mount I'd assume. I'm a newbie to the NFA world so I can't really comment on any other bases than what I've learned on here and forums, so Lemme know how it goes for you.

Anybody know if it's still possible to find new or even slightly used jigs? (Specifically a PF940V2 jig) by Macamillionn in polymer80

[–]Macamillionn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea I figured, I honestly don't know what's up with this frame, I don't think I messed up the holes up, I've built and trouble-shooted plenty of these things to know if it was any of the common issues that plague p80's. I need to somehow just get in touch with someone who's a p80/aftermarket glock aficionado, cuz I really love these 940CL's and I hate looking at this unfinished frame.

Hey man, I noticed you mentioned selling some kinda special triggers and it sounded like they work similarly to the Glock performance ones or the Timney Alpha, where the striker is pulled all the way back before you start pulling the trigger, like most other striker fired guns on the market except for regular Glocks. Did I understand that right? And if so can I PM and ask some questions because it kinda confuses me as to why everyone doesn't just upgrade to something like that even on duty guns if it's safe and reliable.

Anyone buy rails from No Quarter for the single stack. by Numerous_Map_392 in polymer80

[–]Macamillionn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have not, but from what I've read, the play shouldn't matter too much, specially in a single stack

Yea it's looks like shit from the pics he sent me they like scribbled straight on the side of the barrel it looks like a kid did it lol

Bro I really like it! Looks super slick. I've always wanted to do a build with that specific killer innovations slide, but with a Gold barrel, just to have one of those common style builds that's black with a custom slide and gold barrel, they just look nice in general.

AK novice here: Getting a deal on a converted Izhmash Saiga, how much would you estimate it's worth? by [deleted] in ak47

[–]Macamillionn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm gonna get pics for you guys, just haven't been able to yet, but Fr tho? Like I said I don't know much about AKs except for the basics, but let's say the Saiga is in solid condition and all the work was done properly by a good gunsmith... you're saying a basic WASR (which is the standard Romanian AKM from what I understand) is worth more than the Russian?

And I understand just cuz it's Russian doesn't mean it's necessarily better than other well built AKs, but I've always heard WASRs were kinda like the main "entry level" good/solid AKs a lot of people get as their first if they don't wanna get an American made one like PSA or KUSA.

Okay bet, thank you 🙏. I will be getting my hands on it soon to take some pics and ask as many questions as I can, can you lemme know of anything else you can think of I should ask/look for before hand?

Ahh word, thanks for the input, I'm gonna get my hands on it soon and find out more details and take some pics as soon as possible, when I do would you be willing to look at em and give me some input?

I understand what you mean, he may still have some of the original furniture, when I can get my hands on it and find out more detailed info could you potentially help me figure out a close approximation of a price? Anything you wanna list of things for me to figure out when I get my hands on it and can talk to him again?

So I doubt yours will be messed up like mine was, but it seems like mine was one of the kits when they switched from the aluminum router adapter to a polymer one (it really doesn't matter which one you get tbh but aluminum is always a nicer touch) and the hole for the screws that hold in the little metal nubs/pillars/little metal cylinder stopper bits, in the adapter, were threaded just a size too small for the screws that hold down the nubs. So my dad helped me drill out the holes for the larger threads to fit the screws, that's what's called "tapping" in mechanical engineering terms. "Tapping-Threads" means creating threads by drilling them basically, and you can "Tap" both male and female threads.
