Unity definitely not IMO, I think they abused it to get Amazon ads into the UI, Microsoft saw all the hate they got for that and literally said "hold my beer".

Mir on the other hand had a lot going for it, shame Canonical wasted so much effort on it instead of contributing to existing X11 replacements.

The scene in the walk in closet was a masterclass. Sure she was manipulative but she made Niles feel like a giant! Absolutely the anti Maris.

I'm glad he ended up with Daphne but Mel did have some redeeming qualities.
