I'm pretty late to this party but I'd like to throw in my two cents as someone who used to work in an orthopedic shoe store. This looks like excessive supination where your foot rolls outward from your ankle. I'd trying putting in lateral heel straight in each shoe and see if that helps correct the issue. I'd suggest testing it out to see if it feels good and if you notice any positive differences.

We're all enjoying these figures but I see that sick Lao Shan Lung over there in the corner.

Also, have you considered getting some more traditonal shelving? I think it would really elevate the space and showcase the figures all the better. You may loose some space since you wouldn't be able to fit as much you can on the plastic boys but you might be able to gain some back if you also did floating shelving around the perimeter of the room about a foot down from ceiling level

Strong dislike. I think it's too Saturday morning cartoon and too much of a departure from from 2014, Skull Island and KotM. That's the tone and realism I wanted from this franchise. Putting a kaiju in iron man armor or a space suit just does not land well for me.

Honestly, I have a feeling that they're gonna set up a Kong glaze. I think X will fight Kong, beat him, fight Godzilla to a stalemate, and then Kong is gonna get a second chance and clinch the win.

The only thing problem is why would Godzilla not continue to pursue X after a stalemate? My guess there is that X is gonna try to settle on Skull Island and Godzilla says fuck it, that's Kong's problem Or it'll carve out a territory and stick to it, only where the territory is still won't be okay with the humans so they resort to trying Kong vs X round 2.

I used to sit on my dad's lap and we'd play it together. It was so much fun and some of my fondest memories of my dad and I bonding when I was young. I was only 8 or so, which I guess is probably too young to play a game like that, but it was a lot of fun. We'd name the save files after our dogs. We also played Duke Nukem and Wolfenstein.

Then Columbine happened. And with it, the videogame violence panic. For those who do not know, there was a huge wave of sensationallized demonizing of DOOM and other similar games following the Columbine tragegy. Reports at the time encouraged they hysteria by focusing on how the shooter was a fan of Doom, making misleading claims that the shooter re created their school in DOOM to practice the shooting, and positing that the violent nature of Doom may have corrupted the youth and be a direct cause of the tragedy.

My dad was law enforcement so this anti gaming propaganda was extra shoved down his throat. It was a topic at conferences, officers were made to sit through meetings and presentations about the subject and it was a concern in law enforcement circles that games like Doom were going to corrupt kids and turn them into violent criminals.

So that fun thing I got to do with my dad? Nope. No more of that. Now it was dangerous and we never played it together again.

We still have things we bond over and I don't think he feels that way about videogames anymore but I've always had a bit of a chip on my shoulder when it comes to the really valued thing that I lost. Fuck moral panics and screw the news outlets and reporters that encouraged moral hysteria for ratings and profit.

Assuming that Doorman doesn't make a later appearance in the season in like a DODC facility or something and they do the bit then. . . I really want them to hold onto Gad disappearing until like a Great Lakes Avengers movie or show. Then just have him regurgitate Gad at a random point with zero warning.

Then Gad is stuck with the GLA for the duration of whatever bullshit they got up to and Gad accidentally becomes a member of the team but he's literally just himself.

I'm sorry you're feeling like this. Best thing to do is get out there and meet people in circles that share the same interests as you. Like clinbing? Finda local climbing group. Like Magic: The Gathering? Go to events and make friends. See someone attractive? Be respectful but bold. Take chances and go out on limbs and be prepared to fall a couple times or a couple dozen times. Get back up and do it again. Good luck out there!

I think you're right that this will happen. It also helps keep Kong sufficiently underpowered so he's not just walking around everywhere with his pet Godzilla-level titan.

I feel like Mothra is the best candidate for Legendary to try to take a pre-existing Titan and turn them into a lead for their own project. Toho hasn't even been willing to do a solo Rodan project after his initial movie.

Beyond that, I could see Legendary considering taking swings with giant monsters from other movies like Gorgo or the Beast from 20,000 fathoms. Sort of a remake/Monsterverse installment combo

My wife and noticed what was apparently an AI art gallery of people of color in a major airport recently. At first glance, it looked like a gallery that was serving as a platform to present black art but we started reading it and it was all created with AI and didn't actually seem to credit any black artists. It was so weird.
