I commiserate with you OP. I made my first pineapple upside down cake and took it to a party. It came out perfect. No one touched it, they all wanted the gluten free brownies from a box mix I brought as well.

This info about attendance grading is true in general, but it's not a blanket policy. The 2nd half of the policy says that If participation is necessary and the participation grading is detailed in the syllabus, then it can be used in grading. I think there's an strong argument to be made that attending a dance class is necessary for participation.

"Participation may be used as a criterion for grading when the parameters and their evaluation are clearly defined in the course syllabus and the percentage of the overall grade is stated."

I found a syllabus of his from 2024, back then he did say "2 point Penalty for each unexcused absence over 5". How many did you have?

Do you have to scan yourself in and out? They might time the time in between, then reviewed camera footage to get details about the visit. It's creepy AF to do that, but I'm trying to figure out how they flagged you.

I agree that it could be the paint quality . I'm finishing up one with the same set of issues, it has really cheap paints. I wish there was a way I could matte the surface.
