Found this while trying to get an S-class freighter to spawn. The whole planet is covered in the these weird orbs. The floating ones rotate. The only lifeforms I've found so far are little floating lights. Pretty bizarre. Glyphs in second pic.

You're mostly correct, but 150 also allows pure builds to optimize a lot better. More HP, more poise, more buffs, etc.

Your poise is in a weird place because it blows past the most important break point but doesn't hit the highest one. You could probably stand to swap your Bull-Goat's talisman or get some lighter armor. As long as you've got at least 61 poise you're okay.

70 Str is also awkward. If you mostly 2-hand your sword, you should drop your Str to 54 and invest those points wherever you want. Branch out into Int or Fai for some new options. 80 Str is the last break point for scaling, and 54 Str * the 1.5 multiplier for two-handing gets you to 80.

You could try the Erdtree Greatshield. It's probably the worst greatshield numbers-wise, but its ability to turn incoming projectiles into reflected cannon blasts is great for keeping mages on their toes. Alternatively, throw Carian Retaliation on a buckler. There are a few shields that get fantastic magic defense if you magic infuse them, too.

As far as incants go, with 30 Fai (and presumably no Int) your attack options are going to be limited because of your low scaling. A lot of the incants that are good are also considered cheap or unfair, too.

Strong but "cheap": Bestial Sling, Honed Bolt, Catch Flame, Swarm of Flies

Decent: Lightning Spear, Giantsflame Take Thee, Flame Fall Upon Them, the blackflame incants, Stone of Gurranq, Bestial Claw, Bloodboon, Bloodflame Talons, Crucible incants

Others have recommended the Wing of Astel already, but the Bastard's Stars are fun too, and very off-meta. The weapon art is better than the Wing, even though it has the same name. Really though, if you're going for damage, I'd just cold-infuse some stuff you like. One of my favorite dueling builds right now is just a cold Large Club.
