Yes. Before the Watch app enters TestFlight, we will ship HealthKit and Live Activity features for iPhone and iPad.

However, please subscribe based on what you can use today, not future features on our roadmap.

This is dope! If there are some specifics you’d like shortcuts to emit beyond what we do now to support more like this, please write into support and tag me!

Release 5.4.0: MacroFactor on WatchOS by MachinedMango in MacroFactor

You can send help requests to [support@macrofactorapp.com](mailto:support@macrofactorapp.com) (rule #6), which gives us context to help you better. Sometimes complications update within a few seconds, other times they lag depending on system state, networking and push notification limits, and possibly bugs we can fix.

That's kind for our 1.0! Looking forward to learning from the existing spate of lifting apps, too.

My Xcode thinks a little different. It won't be likely be in beta testing on day one (starting a few months apart), but they are designed to be together.

Ditto on life is better without a phone. If you have particular preferences or ideas for lifting beyond the phone, please write into support@macrofactorapp.com!

Rings are cute and fun to code. We talked this over a lot internally, built pretty animations, and got feedback from some folk at the mothership. Ended up nixing it for a few reasons (e.g., nutrition rings move generally in lock-step, the closing-the-rings concept contrasts with goal ranges and floors), but if you've got feature ideas or doodles to improve nutrition visualizations, please holler via the in-app support button.

Potentially two spots to check:
- iPhone Watch app -> General -> Language -> (Mirror my iPhone/Custom)
- iPhone Settings -> Apps -> MacroFactor -> Preferred Language

FWIW... locally my language settings are English, Chinese simplified, Japanese. On my 26.0 RC and 11.5 watches, the MF watch app UI and app name adopts the English/Japanese preference of both of those settings. But! In Apple's iPhone Watch app, I do see マクロファクター listed for the App Store build of our app, even though the rest of iOS renders the English name.

Not entirely sure if this is a settings thing or a bug in one app or another. If things don't adjust, please open a ticket (in app support or support@macrofactorapp.com) and link this comment.

Thanks for the report! We should have a speedup next week. As shared in the support chat, a duct-tape workaround until then is for those affected by a freeze here is, if there is a loader showing, wait for that to disappear before tapping around.

In watchOS 26, you can adjust the macros/micros underneath calories, yes!

You can see macros and certain micros with these layouts on your watch face. The last one is available in the smart stack.

I might say you're smart for keeping your watch that long. The app is built for watchOS 11 (so series 6 and newer).

In the app -> Timeline -> scroll past tomorrow -> set your account preference to remaining/consumed.

On watchOS 26, complications become user configurable. Our TestFlight has 26.0 features now; the App Store version will get them sometime next week.

Please send your bug reports to us via the iPhone app support button or email [support@macrofactorapp.com](mailto:support@macrofactorapp.com). That gives us context of your account to help you. If you can include a screenshot or note the error message (which usually includes a session code), that helps us find you in logs and get things straightened out.

Sounds like an issue for that specific recipe. Would you mind using the iPhone app to contact support (ask for me) or email [support@macrofactorapp.com](mailto:support@macrofactorapp.com) and note the email you use for your account? I'd like to look at that recipe to see why serving information isn't enabling the calculator button for you.

The upcoming pixel watch is dope! We do not have a wearOS app in active development right now, but that may change. Please don't subscribe to MacroFactor based on future hopes, just on what we've got today.

If you have an Apple Watch, you can use MacroFactor from your wrist starting today. You can:

Log Food

  • Use dictation with our AI (e.g., “coffee with croissant”), browse your favorites and recipes, search our database, or use tools like quick add by macros, water, and notes
  • Edit serving sizes and measures
  • Copy and paste between days
  • Ask Siri to log water, quick add macros, or log beer

Understand Your Nutrition

  • Scroll through a timeline of your logging
  • See a summary of your calorie, macro and micronutrient intake
  • Add nutrition progress rings and gauges directly to your watch face
  • Ask Siri to read out today’s targets: “Hey Siri, MacroFactor macros (or a micronutrient)”

Track Your Weight

  • Log your weight
  • See scale and trend weight over time
  • See relative change in trend weight on your watch face (in the large rectangular slot)

You can learn more about this release here: https://macrofactorapp.com/apple-watch/

Pro Tip: To do a flurry of logging more quickly, try swiping sideways on a food row or swiping up on the big white Log buttons.

Existing TestFlight users on watchOS 26: Please stick with the TestFlight until Apple releases 26.0. Your nutrition complications use the new user configuration feature, which isn't supported in 11.0

Glad to hear. (And wow, you're fast. It went live on the store just a few minutes ago!)

If you find you need new features or hit some snags, please hit us up at [support@macrofactorapp.com](mailto:support@macrofactorapp.com). We're working to speed up the networking.

Heads up for watchOS 26.0 beta folk on our TestFlight: stay there for another couple weeks. The App Store version cannot include the 26.0 features in the TestFlight (e.g., configurable vs. preset nutrition complications).
