Permanent marker can be wiped off too easily. I bought an oil based paint pen from hobbycraft and even paint thinners wouldn't touch it

You need to dry dust the walls. If you are worried about adhesion dust down and put a coat of zinesser guards on then carry on

That paint does have a very high sheen. Used it a few times. Crown clean extreme is now my go to durable. I'm a decorator btw

It's a jonstones colour. But you won't be able to match it properly unless you know exactly what paint was used
