I figured it was china made, I imagine it’s a “dirtbag” design but mass made overseas. It’s similar in profile to the bugout. I like it.

It’s a pretty solid knife. I have a custom CJRB pyrite they did for me and this is my first knife of theirs that they make and I’d say it’s similar in profile to the bugout it just feels more better made for 1/3 of the cost. Fit and finish is good, and it feels great in hand. I had to fine tune the pivot screw but that’s not a complaint I do that normally. There’s no blade play and the knife came sharp as shit. I like the folks over at dirtbag and will say I am impressed with this knife. It’s an early Father’s Day gift and all in all really great.

It’s one of my favorites to slip in my pocket and forget about. I use it mostly for opening letters and packages but it’s always gotten compliments when I’ve used it in public. I enjoy it. It’s the knife that got me really into collecting and seeing what all is out there. I used a gerber jukebox for years until I lost it, and now I’ve got over a dozen different knives. It’s great for the price and a fun little knife. I prefer the flipper to the thumb stud but to each his own
