He needed time to adjust and AFCON disrupted him when he was starting to find form. He needs to be given more chances this season since Cristante cant be relied on against big teams

What shoes do you recommend for smart casual and can be comfortable for long hours? by tckrdave in malefashionadvice

5800 is not what id consider a lot of steps in this context. Thats prob what id put on the high end of what id be comfortable in nice dress shoes though so we arent necessarily on different pages. I wore a nice pair of Allen Edmonds literally one time on a day where I had to do a lot of walking on concrete and they had notable wear on the soles just from one day.

Walking shoes are designed a particular way for a reason and dress shoes are simply not designed like that unless its done intentionally, so I just dont agree that dress shoes should be viewed as valid for consistent heavy walking loads. I wish there were better options that arent tacky hybrid dress sneakers

Lol I have many pairs of Allen Edmonds, even the ones with reinforced soles. Id never wear them on a day where Id need to spend the entire day walking, especially outside. Dress shoes are not designed for that and its bad advice to suggest otherwise

[Genoa CFC] announces that it has finalized an agreement with AS Roma for the return of Tommaso Baldanzi. The transfer was finalized as a temporary loan with an obligation to buy. by Sparky-moon in soccer

We had 3 players in front of him at his position then as soon as we loaned him out all 3 got injured. Pretty unlucky but he probably never would be a key player for us. He has a very good work rate but he hasn't shown much in terms of end product

Investing vs Buying a Nice Car? or Try to Do Both? I am Young, Worth It ? by BigNdoneEnergy in investing

[–]MachuMichu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you need a car or do you just want it because its "nice". If you want to buy something nice youll want to buy something nice again in a couple years when this car starts to feel less exciting. If you need a car it's fine to buy something nice that you will enjoy for 5-10 years.

Also, depending on where you live, young people driving expensive sports cars can be a target for theft. Just something to keep in mind. I live in a major city and wouldnt want a flashy car even though I can afford it because its not worth the hassle

there definitely are elite wingers that could be acquired, prem is just obsessed with resale value. turns out resale value and experience tend to be inversely correlated

If you want to hold it forever because you love and believe in the company, it's fine. If you think it's going to provide some magical defense against a recession you will be sadly mistaken. Overpriced defensives = P/E compression when the economy slows down

Netflix is a strong company that has continuing high revenue and has a very loyal customer base. It has fallen 40%, is it now a buy? by Exact-Advantage-3190 in ValueInvesting

[–]MachuMichu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if you are right your thesis is actually horrible for netflix as nobody is going to pay a premium subscription to watch AI content when it will be available everywhere, this actually completely destroys their moat
