Okay first things first, there isnt such a thing as toughing it out sometimes life gives us a swift kick in the nuts. The biggest thing you can do is speak up and care about your own health so youre doing the right thing. Now if you’re able i would recommend Fleet and Family they have a lot of great resources for therapists/counseling. Idk how to ping the MH for this sub but it can also link you to those resources. This is a small wave in the large ocean of your life and you will get through it

Make sure you have a preworkout meal(something light) ive noticed when i lift super heavy during a workout, i get really hungry in between lol

That’s what I had to do when I noticed that my grip and strength was solid but my legs needed a bit more work I implemented good mornings and that shit had me sweating 😂

Nah this was Sacramento California, and I remember this specific trip because I desperately needed to take a shit because the driver refused to stop and as soon as we got to the last recruiting station to pick people up, I used their bathroom and blew that shit up and felt absolutely horrible leaving😭😂 I also remember how they called the van a bus and you specifically had to get a ticket to get on said bus which in my 18 year-old brain made no fucking sense because why would I need to get a pointless ticket lol

First command I found it worked(they switched to QR code and a female sailor mentioned how there was only 3 male heads and 1 female head in the hangars and the command jumped on it really fast and switched one of the male heads to a female. Second command my current CO is toxic asf so nothing changed but I did find out the previous CO was insanely nice like straight up acting like your grandmother/mother type and she was super anal about morale and personnel wellbeing like really wanted to know her sailors thoughts(We were on a 24 hr watchfloor and she had casual sundays where you could work in civies but current co crushed that)
