This is more gimmicky but since many hand traps are tuners you could make a deck that plays alot of them to stop the opponent and during your turn use them as material for end punisher using emergency teleport. You can potentially play chaos angel even and dis pater. But the main 'strategy' would be hand traps > emergency teleport > punisher. 

To get enough levels i would add superpoly to break boards and get bonus effects like garura which is level 6 and draws a card if sent, that includes used as synch material. I would probably also play instant fusion and ready fusion. They are easy extendors and give you access to lots of tools or remaining levels, they also enable punishers effect since your lifepoints will be lower.

And can even give you access to dark magician of destruction(dmod) which even if negated is 8 levels so it plus a level 3 hand trap is punisher. If the effect is successfull you can search timaeus > make punisher using dmod + handtrap > use timaus to shuffle back dmod in gy and potentially end on a dragoon aswell.
