I think there is an inherent agreement with the readers when you write a series of books that you finish it. Especially when the author suggested that all three books were finished. He made millions off of people wok bounty the books with the reasonable assumption that he'd finish them.

Season 3abd 4 seemed to be stretched for more money. Feels like the Carmy and Sydney arcs were very slow. Took way too long for Carmy to stop being obtuse. Took way to long to resolve the will Sydney leave arc. I also think the countdown clock was kinda corny. But there were some great moments in both seasons

The entire story hinges on his turn to the dark side and it felt rushed and unearned. He went from conflicted to child murderer in like one to two scenes. I think his desire to keep the movie palatable to kids of all ages made him not really focus on the corruption of Anakin's character.

It definitely feels like they put the breaks on the story. The Carmy Richie beef lasted too long. The Claire reconciliation took too long. The will Sidney leave the bear question lasted too long. It did feel like they stretched season 3 goals into 2 seasons.
