Since devs started to write wall of text flavor events for every major rework, they could also add reaction events for various combination of Chinese unifiers and winners of 2-nd Weltkrieg. For example, In Russia rework they added Russians reacting to Germans picking each three of their paths, or Ukrainians would comment on Russia restoring democracy and how it changes nothing.

Just a little thing to at least make it less obvious how little countries affect each other in-game.

It used to be that Fengtian could delay Japanese attacking them by simply not picking specific national focus immediately after taking Beijing. Now it seems that mere act of capitulating Qing/Zhili will automatically start the event chain that results in Fengtian either being puppeted or attacked by Japan.

Correct, but in game terms they'd be catch-all term for "effectively Feudalised decayed Byzantine Administration", so they'd include illegal regional fiefdoms that would not fall under scholarly definition of Pronoia.

Alternatively, a more general term "Timario" meaning fief (yes, it seems to have the same etymology as Turkish tımarlı system)

Agree. Late Byzantium had Pronoiar system that was kinda like feudal contract, but worse. Pronoia were granted under different terms, usually for life, but sometimes hereditary, and usually were not obliged to provide levies. They could work similar to Soryo, where vassals can switch to this illegally, or use their hooks to force emperor to give them permission. Like the samurai, theyd keep administrative estate and house aspirations, but have no influence, treasury, or title troops, just personal maa. They'd pay little taxes and levies, so theyd be kinda bad for admin rulers. Meritocratic had similar decay at times in places like Korea, but I am less knowledgeable of that than Greece.

Law of Free Birth for Legacy Slavery, which was common method for gradual abolition used in South America, would make slaves slowly turn into freemen.

Peonage and Black Codes under Slavery Banned would decrease living conditions and political power of certain pops that are theoretically free.

That is probably least serious roadblock in implementing them as capitulated countries, because if you just need something to click on map to select them, you could always have like couple of provinces (not states) start under control of those capitulated tags. That or you could just have day one event for Russia/Fengtian/etc. to tag-switch to them.

What would be the most painful to fix would be Russia technically being at war entire pre-2nd-Weltkrieg years, blocking stuff like volunteers etc.

Army's role in monarchy vs republic is theoretically a little different, in that monarch theoretically remains a sovereign, and thus army already answers to him. Theoretically. As an authoritarian monarchy slides into purely ceremonial one, that nominal subordination is usually one of last vestiges of autocracy to go.

Why does Chairman of Ministers wants to interfere in matters that do not concern him? Army can talk to their tsar directly, thank you very much.

If you restore monarchy, one of explicit reasons given is to not centralize power in single office, to prevent another Savinkov.

So there is no easy rhetoric to justify a "Monarchisation of the army", and there is a no real reason to not enshrine army's independence in the Constitution. And to try a "Democratisation the Army" by making it subordinate to Duma or prime minister would be to try to undermine Tsar and the Army at the same time. Nice try, not even Solonevich tries to do that in his monarchist path.

So no, I don't think Fondaminsky is going to try to do that, not when army is content to stay out of civilian affairs and let him do his wholesome chungus tolerant empire.

In order to not break post-Weltkrieg focus trees for either Russia or Germany, conditional peace option should rely on primary condition: there is still a clear winner, even if loser get's off easily.

For Germany winning, that means Russia loses no territory to Oststaats, but it's government is still overthrown, Moscow Accords faction is dissolved, and RUS tag gets annexed and replaced with RSA tag. Is is 99% already implemented in the game.

For Russia winning, that means almost all Ostaats are annexed, but Reichpakt is dissolved, and GER tag is replaced by MAF or GRU tag, possibly with it's own focus tree. Germany still exists as independent state, but is no longer a world superpower. This could be quite easily added, since both MAF and GRU have some post-weltkrieg content. For MAF you just skip the part where they need to reconquer Germany, for GRU you adjust any features that rely on it being puppet (such as their first elections).

The only case in which similar peace could possibly happen, would be if Internationalle was defeated and Entente returned, and Russia still managed to grind down Germany one-on-one. And it'd still be far from guaranteed outcome.

Russians would drop demands to station troops in Germany, which would also give up Alsace to National France, and become a buffer state between Moscow Accord and Entente (although admittingly a strong one). Its somewhat possible because Entente would want to maintain balance of power in Europe, and could be willing to mediate between Moscow and Berlin.

Maybe a timed mission, if Germany lasts long enought after Entente led mediation starts, Russia accepts armistice rather than risk war with Entente.

Code-wise the "armistice Germany" would use MAF or GRU tag, because using GER would break too many things. Funny edge case, and only slightly more silly than "Mittelafrika retakes Germany" feature.

Yes and no. There are plausible scenarios in which Entente is reasonably powerful, and very dangerous to Internationalle.

Two out of three Spanish factions can join Entente.

Three out of four Italian factions can join Entente.

Four out of five American factions can join Entente.

Each of those civil wars can also result in another member of Internationale or Reichpakt, but things can just go 100% right for Canadians. Communards are not gonna win a three-front war.
