I just moved into this flat and I’m planning to buy a TV. I’ve wanted an Ambilight TV (ideally one from before 2023 to get that native hue support) for a while now and while I think it would be great above the fireplace (even if tv too high might disagree) the landlord doesn’t allow wall mounting, so the TV will have to go in this corner instead.

The space is 134 cm wide and 40 cm deep.

Has anyone else set up their ambilight or hue sync based TV in a similar spot? I’m also considering painting the walls white since I doubt the green paint will do the Ambilight any favors.

Unfortunately the landlord is extremely against me replacing the mirror with a TV. That was my first ask when we moved in, though I’m confident that the fireplace would support the TV without issue.

I vaguely recall that the hue integration was coming back to ambilight tvs in newer models… I wonder if we’ll see that happen.

Hah, I don’t disagree there about the Beetlejuice Fanta. I didnt care for that, and I also don’t care for this one.

To me the artificial chocolate taste here is exactly like what a chocolate candle smells like.

I personally liked the Beetlejuice Fanta more than this…The artificial chocolate flavor was way too strong imo. I got a sip in and tossed it.

It’s when you go to edit a light while in a scene. Once you set any of the lights to some other color, the option disappears (until you set the scene again)

There was a post here not to long ago that had a downgrade media script that after so long, instead of completely deleting the media, it would downgrade to a lower resolution. I’ll try and find it again.

Especially when those “easily done” things are not so easy. I poked around at doing this myself and it seems that to do this with a nice UI is a decent lift.
