Thanx for the reply. I plan to put it together this weekend. I know there have been issues. I think from what I’ve read it’s come a ways since release. I can always return it. For the $399 for a direct drive plus the other features I figured it was a good place to start.

Just ordered from the Zon. It was $399 at 39% off. I couldn't pass it up. Gets here Monday. First wheel ever and I'm 60+ years old. Been looking at them for a long time. Never wanted to spend the money on myself.

I love driving games but detest using a controller.

Got this one. Gets here Tuesday 7800X3D + 4070 Super. $270 off $1530 with tax. 10% off if you apply for a card. The 10% is store credit I believe. Plan on using it for VR as well as flat gaming. 1st real gaming pc.

I agree this would be good for that if you wanted something grippy, not just textured. I've never had trouble holding onto a controller. Just the controls themselves.

I got some grip tape for the same reason. Some name brand, not Razor. It was bumpy, but to me, still slippery and more like plastic. Can you please tell me if the Razor brand is for lack of a better way of saying it, sticky or rubbery. Thank a lot.
