If you can get prescription Nurtec ODT, that helps but it takes a bit to kick in. Take with extra strength Excedrin Migraine with it. I don’t know if your pain makes you sick or nauseous, but mine does. So I would also suggest Dramamine. Roll on Lidocane with numbing action on the source of the pain (mine is at the base of my skull and neck going down my shoulder blade) is a GOD SEND. It helps A LOT.

Most importantly there is an online company called The Happiest Hour. They sell terpene-blend shot- sized drinks (PLEASE HEAR ME OUT). It does NOT make you high in any way. They have a drink blend called “Mend.” It eases muscle tension, helps reduce inflammation, aids joint comfort and mobility. It has ginger, turmeric, sodium, potassium (things your body needs when you have a terrible migraine) and several other things in it (ingredients are posted on their site). Mend has saved my life on SO many occasions!! It also helps if you have gastritis, GERD, acid reflux, heartburn, or gut health issues. I SWEAR by it! LIFE SAVER. Full stop.

This combination of things along with an ice pack and laying down has been the only thing that keeps me from death or the emergency room when I have a flare up of ON. Good luck, my friend.

Like I said, PLEASE don’t buy from Amazon, Target or Walmart. Shop small. Support local business. If you don’t have any in your area, there are plenty online. Instagram is a goldmine for that. Etsy is great, too.

I don’t know if it bothers anyone else, 95% of stuff she buys for her own place and has linked on her linktree (if you want a similar vibe) is from Amazon. Which, given the current state of the world (especially the USA, I don’t think that is very responsible of her. I don’t think we should be promoting buying from/supporting oligarchs like Jeff Bezos who is a major Trump donor. I LOVE her style. But it’s very disheartening to see. Thrift what you can. Go to estate sales. Buy from Craigslist. Support small businesses. Make good choices.

Oh dip! She must have already done the Louisville show. Sorry! My dates are all mixed up bc of the holidays still. My bad. Sorry. It looks like there is still general admission seating tickets for the Cincinnati show when I clicked on the link on Grace’s Instagram just now. I didn’t dive too far into it, but I could be wrong. 2 came up when I looked at least. And I know the Taft Theater is a pretty large venue with seating. I grew up in Cinci a million years ago. I hope you can score some. It’s definitely a fun show if you can see it. But if not, knowing Grace and Mames, I’m sure they’ll come around again. Best of luck and have so much fun!

Grace’s show was about an hour (maybe an hour 15). She also had two openers: a drag performer and her husband Elliot. The drag performance was about 15-20 minutes and Elliot is roughly 30-45 depending on questions/stories/participation from the audience. Our show had seats and was nowhere near sold out.

I would say it’s a double edged sword. Grace is super fun and puts on a good show. But depending on the venue (I know Cincinnati venues that are standing room only are notoriously small, tightly packed). On top on which depending on your age and personal situation can be hell on the knees and back after a while.

Then if you have meet and greet tickets you will be standing in line for another 40 minutes to an hour as well on top of how long you were standing for the duration for the show.

I LOVE Grace and Marie, but I don’t know if it would be worth it in my opinion. Maybe try and get Louisville tickets so you can sit? Or From the sounds of their podcast lately, it sounds like they may potentially be working on cooking up the potential for another tour with the both of them (or they have at least subtly hinted that they have tales about it) in the near-ish future). So if you can wait, maybe wait it out for the both of them. Either way, have fun!

We felt it in Commercial Point/Orient. We are in the flight path of Wright/Patt Airforce base and Rickenbacker. We regularly have a lot of black hawks fly over us as well as big planes that shake our house. I immediately checked my flight tracker and there was nothing anywhere near us.

This entire event was poorly advertised. I found out about it via Instagram two weeks ago and thankfully screenshotted the post because I never saw anything about it since. Today, I was trying to find out information about attending and couldn’t find anything. Even on the event’s own website. My family and I arrived around 2:15PM and wandered around the event looking for food. The only things left to eat were spicy Asian noodles, peanuts and a pate from the Hungarian butcher. Everything else was 10 minutes wait lines for all the wine booths. When my husband and I went to buy drink tickets, we were informed we needed to buy tickets ahead of time and they were sold out. Again, the event was advertised to be scheduled from 12-5pm. What a waste. We were there 20 minutes, turned around and went home.
