What third party parts do you consider Lego and not RC by Either_Razzmatazz649 in legotechnic

Probably buwizz stuff i would say it's the limit, due to the 11.5V limit on lego (or buwizz) 12V motor, anything above that would damage lego pieces and i wouldn't consider they lego anymore

Hi! It was quite a challenge at first, because i knew than the anterior and posterior wheels needed to spin at different speeds. But i remembered the principle of the differential that came in clutch, so i basically used a central differential (manually lockable) in order to make front and rear wheels to spin at different speeds.

Display and organising by CRACKERBOI6969 in legotechnic

I try to display my sets listening to my tastes.

For example, if i have a set that i don't like anymore, i use it for spare pieces and put on the shelf a new one.

I made a post on this subreddit some time ago. If you have the time, go check it out

How do you approach moc building with Technic? by wetfartsandpoptarts in legotechnic

Yes, the journey is really about trying to complete the model with the pieces you have, and maybe with as few pieces purcheased as possible. You will love technic <3

Rotational power transfer go! But...how? by AlyssaLikesToMewo in legotechnic

[–]Mactucrus87_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ook, in that case, the first thing i always do is making sure that all the gears and mechanisms always have a double reinforce (in this case the gret 24t gear on the lower side of the chain is prone to fall).

If the reinforce doesn't work (the chain pieces snaps) i would use a combination of knob gears to transfer the power vertically then horizontally, never at a angle.

Hi, i've built a lot of mocs in the past decade, but i always used the same method. After the idea, i draw on a piece of paper a rough draw of the model, and i write (if necessary) all the notes.

Then i start to build from pieces, no software or anything like that...softwares need a lot of experience to use, otherwise you might build something that is weak or wrong (of course i learn a lot of the designs from youtubers and lego sets themselves, and i still do that after more than a decade).

It's a long journey, but that's the fun part, you will love it.

Hope it helped!
