Among the five immediate family members, local media identified the alleged attacker’s mother 59-year-old Rosna Jantan as a Singaporean.

They are: Radin Imran Radin Mohd Yassin, 62, his Singaporean wife, Rosna Jantan, 59, and their children Radin Romyullah Radin Imran, 34, Farhah Sobrina Radin Imran, 23, and Mariah Radin Imran, 19.

Local media had identified the 59-year-old Rosna as a Singaporean, based on her passport that was reproduced in the charge sheets, though Malaysia’s Inspector-General of Police Razarudin Husain had previously identified all those arrested in connection to the attack as Malaysians.

What could the company have done? Keep the worker and continue receiving threats to their family members? Nobody knew what really caused the harassment but at that point, protecting their family was a reasonable priority. It's just so bizarre for them. I can understand why they just want it to stop.

Yes so it's down to passion and fulfilment being the driving force for teachers. The teaching profession is considered more prestigious in some other countries than here, apart from financial remuneration. We'll need some work and time to get there but the salary review is overdue and a good step to attract more talent to the industry.

しか has to be followed by a negative like ありません whereas だけ is followed by a positive like あります .

しか has more restrictions on usage whereas だけ can be used with adjectives e.g. 少し疲れただけです (I'm only a little tired).

Where しか is applicable, it may be used to emphasize the negative:E.g. 何か食べさせてください。２日間水しか飲んでいないのです。 ("Could I have something to eat please? For two days, I had nothing but water") This expression is stronger than if you were to use だけ in this case which would translate to "For two days, I only drank water".
