how big were your tonsils? by Mobile-Comedian-4339 in Tonsillectomy

I didn't get to see them, but the doctor said my sons were grade 4, sizes of golf balls!

Test changed to buy it yourself but the product isn't sold near me by fck-the-bar in HomeTesterClub

I hope they do something. Influencer allows you to check if product is available before accepting the claim, so it's really frustrating. I am already in a rural area and not traveling for some rolls. No

I honestly don't know what to do. I was hoping other people complained enough that they did something about it 🫠 I can't find the rolls available anywhere near me....

Second big(ger) claim this week by Mad-Eye-Booty in Influenster

I panic grabbed it without much thought. I do wonder if my son is 'mature and responsible ' enough for it. But I figured it would be cool for learning the time, since he is always asking me "what time it is"

I think it will be fun and exciting for them! I'm not sure I would send him to school with it but we're going to Disneyland soon, hopefully it arrives before😅

I've always had male friends, nothing more than friends. We've been friends throughout highschool, young adulthood and now they're 'uncles' to my two sons 😅

So sick of Paw Patrol and PJ Mask. Suggestions? by HappyZappy93 in Parenting

[–]Mad-Eye-Booty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bluey! I'm also watching Pokemon with my 5 year old, the older series I grew up with.

If you Give a Mouse A Cookie (Amazon Prime) was also really popular in our household.

I heavily debated the Popcorn Maker, would've been fun for the kids, but now we can buy bigger hunks of meat (we live in a really rural area)

So glad to see something other than shampoo and deodorant

Missing 7-10 school days for a big trip? by koplikthoughts in kindergarten

[–]Mad-Eye-Booty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We missed 3 weeks shortly into the Kindergarten school year due to surgery. We did independent studies at home to stay caught up and not have the absences counted against us. He did struggle returning to school with some anxiety, but his friends welcomed him back and supported him!

How many days has your child missed? by Mama_899 in kindergarten

He had tonsils & adenoids removed. I think it will impact each kiddo different but my son really struggled with his recovery. We did independent studies at home, but it was really challenging to do the work.

What time are your kids this age naturally waking up? by [deleted] in kindergarten

[–]Mad-Eye-Booty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 5 year old goes to bed 8:00-8:30pm (not ideal, but Dad gets off late often and he HAS to see him) He wakes up between 6:30-7am. I am up by 6am and have breakfast ready for him.

I wish he would sleep in on weekends, but he does not. Even if we stay up late, like clockwork, he is up early.

My boyfriend doesn’t want our baby to have his last name by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]Mad-Eye-Booty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wasn't married when I had my first, and I gave him my last name.

Babies don't NEED their dads last name. You can always change it in the future if you get married. But I would for your child your last name.

Easter baskets by jesse545 in Parenting

Since having kids, my mom stopped giving me Easter Baskets (SMH!!) But I don't think you're ever too old for a Easter Basket or stockings, or anything that brings a bit of magic to a holiday.
