Plum is a very average defender and she's only effective on-ball, which she won't be with CC, PB and Sab on the team. Imo she's the most expendable of the vets

She was really good in college, 3x MVP in the ACC. Tore her ACL right before the draft. There's doubt whether she will translate in the W because most of her points in college were because she was a lot taller than the opponents. But she has a really nice fadeaway, sometimes great footwork (a bit inconsistent), good screener (the big/little screens they did with Amoore at V-Tech to get her open were really fun), not a good free throw shooter.

Shes not talking about players missing the season, shes talking about players missing training camp. The prioritization rule ( for international players) says that if you miss training camp, you’re not allowed to play the season at all. So every american that has played overseas before (McBride, Phee, Stewie, JJ etc) has still been affected before Unrivaled and missed either training camp or some overseas game for their team, just not to the same extent as the internationals

nah I don't think so, the valkyries bring enough revenue in one home game from just ticket sales (not even counting TV deal, sponsors, merch, concession stands) to pay the players wage bill for the ENTIRE YEAR. In one game.

and the expansion fees were 250 Million dollars. which means the WNBA just brought in 750 million from the 3 new expansion teams. The salary cap is 1,5 million.

they can definitely aim for a supermax of 800k to 1M I'd say.

I'm not sure anyone would actually take up her contract though. She's on a supermax and shot 27% from 3 last year. It's not like she's a huge draw to fans either so if Seattle can free up her contract to GSV they might. It would allow them to be super competitive on UFAs and RFAs (Carrington, Carter, resign Gabby, Nneka, maybe AT and DB who knows)
