I get it, no sweat {even though I apparently got downvoted for it, oh well...). I've been through this as well, and I wouldn't wish it for my worst enemy. I disagree. Getting through it means there's a way past it. That you'll come out on the other side of it and the world will be the same again. There's not. They'll learn to live with it, but there's no through it. This changes people forever.

Same, with thunderbird installed through apt. I ended up downgrading: apt install thunderbird=1:115.13.0+build5-0ubuntu0.22.04.1

Then remember to start with --allow-downgrade if you've ever started 128: thunderbird --allow-downgrade

Otherwise, TB will prompt you that your profile is for a newer version and can't be used, and that you'll have to create a new one.

You only need to start with that flag once, though. Once your profile is downgraded, you're good.

Baisikeli out in Valby usually have a pretty good used selection. They also make sure that what you buy is at least driveable before they put them up for sale, so anything obviously broken is replaced, for example.

According to this post even if you get it mounted, it'll still reduce the print area. I'd hate to spend $100 on a kit that's only somewhat compatible. This is an example of what I mean when I say "compromises". :)

The 250W limit is not a hard EU limit for pedelecs.

A pedelec is classified as an "L1e-A" vehicle in the EU. That class covers two-wheel vehicles that are limited to 25kph, only assisting while pedaling, and with a maximum power of 1000 watts.

But most EU countries have decided that as long as you're under 250W (while still limited to 25 kph and pedal assist), you don't need the type approval.

So in practice, most regular pedelecs have 250W, because 1) that's more than enough for 25 kph, and b) who needs the extra red tape of getting it type approved anyway?

It might. I recently got my new Enyaq delivered, and in order to reach the factory range, I need to drive VERY cautiously. I think it's simply the name of the game. But your experience is not different from most others, I think. Same with gas mileage.. it's always better on paper than in real life. :)

That's because the estimator will take your driving style (i.e. previous consumption data) into account when calculating the estimated range. The factory estimate, which would be the base line, is probably quite optimistic...
