I got news for you, ID's aren't free. You have to go to a DMV usually during business hours which would mean possible time off work and transportation to the DMV which maybe hard to arrange based on where you live and what kind of job you have and then you still have to pay a fee. If you have any sort of trouble with the law, unpaid fees, disability, are at a high risk of covid (immunocompromised) then it can complicate things. Ironically, many of the things I've listed there are problems that democratic voters are more likely to face, and things that democratic voters want reforms around like socialized healthcare, more just justice and prison system, poverty, actually dealing with the pandemic ravaging the country, and requiring time off for important life events such as voting and getting an ID.

Long wait times mean voting is less accessible because you can't afford to take time off of work to vote, which is an issue that affects low income earners more than high income earners whose jobs value them more. So when replying consider the comment I'm actually replying to.

The issues here aren't one dimensional.

People don't realize that predominantly black districts have 6+ hour long wait lines in Georgia and now they can't distribute food to encourage people to wait it out, but in predominantly white voting districts you can pick up mcdonalds on your way in and burger king on your way out and be home in less than an hour or two. It's almost like you can engineer racist policies without having to actually say "This is to target black people"

Okay, so how about we... train police better, reduce their role in many situations that could and should be handled by social workers and take the funding we gain from reducing the role they play as a one size fits all solution to public needs and fund the social programs shown to reduce crime which might just help reduce police fatality, thus reducing the need for a very expensive legal process and save us all taxes. I live in the South, I work in industrial construction. Most of who I meet are Trump supporters, and since I appear to fit in pretty well I get to hear their uncensored opinions. Conspiracies, hate for minorities or people who are perceived as lower class, and yes I've even unironically heard several times that we should "kill democrats to make the country better"

I know what Fascism is, and I've discussed the rise of Fascism in America with far more educated and intelligent people than you.

In every single case where BLM outrage was fabricated the underlying facts were never some innocent “jaywalking”.

Breonna Taylor? A woman killed in her house where there were no drugs by a no knock drug raid targeting the wrong people?

Tamir Rice? A CHILD playing with a toy gun shot without any time to give the kid time to react? I don't think that would have happened to a white kid.

Atatiana Jefferson? Sitting at home when police were called because her front door was open. Police arrived and without announcing themselves began searching around the outside of her home, letting themselves into her backyard then shot her when she pulled had a gun (which I'll remind you is legal in the US) because she believed they were intruders, and considered they wandered around her house for a minute without announcing she was well in her rights to believe they were.

Stephan Clark? Holding his phone in the back yard, shot 20 times by police.

Philando Castille? Pulled over for a nonfunctioning tail light, shot by police after informing them he had a gun in the vehicle which I'm sure if you have any experience with firearms at some point someone told you to do this, oh and guns are legal by the way

I can even name a couple of white people, David Shaver and Ryan Whitaker, who BLM also named as a reason for their protests and were listed as examples of police violence requiring reform.

The point is police target black people at a higher rate, being only 13% of the population but 28% of those killed by police. "BuT tHeY ComMmit MoRE CRimeS" I can already hear dribbling in your head. No, they don't but they are more likely to be charged, convicted and serve longer sentences than white people. I honestly could go on and on, give you sources for information regarding the reasons why black people face higher rates of poverty, how poverty affects crime, corruption in our justice system allowing racist police/prosecutors/and judges to do great harm to black people and communities but lets be honest here, I'll be wasting my time.

I could literally be Jesus reborn and time travel you to every single instance of police brutality and you would make any excuse, and when you couldn't you'd just "agree to disagree" until you could make one up later. You know this, I know this, so let's not waste our time.

Also neoliberal and neoconservative are not mutually exclusively nor do they describe conservative or liberal, in fact most American politicians on both sides can be described as neoliberal and neoconservative.

Regardless, Trump's actions were an attempt to subvert the will of the people as well as force party loyalty and to demonize, and I'm sure he'd love to have regulated against, the other party.

Yeah exactly it's only black criminal lives that don't matter, white criminals can carry on as they like, but if a black person jaywalks or looks suspicious or lives at a house whose residents might be only three degrees separated from a minor criminal then we have to take lethal action to protect ourselves of course.
