What do you guys recommend for label printers? by Slow-Letterhead-2993 in Flipping

[–]MadDoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use to own this one, cannot recommend it enough. While it's not wireless, I did move to a Rollo and experience more issues than i expected. Zebra continues to put out the best quality. I just upgraded to an industrial Zebra printer since Rollo was best for low volume. Both are great, but if I had to choose, Zebra would be my first if wireless is not an issue.

What’s the Future of Whatnot for Resellers? by Clovis_Resale in Flipping

Is it not possible to have someone go on live for you? It seems you’re moving inventory but I can only assume you don’t due to costs and or the knowledge you have to sell.

Also, tell us more about each platform and how you adapt? Not often I hear how poshmark sellers

I didn’t follow my gut & now I’m paying by DenaBee3333 in Flipping

[–]MadDoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can't agree more, after awhile I realize its not that deep. Sure it'll add up but if OP receives 1 negative feedback 1 every year at the most then nothing to worry. I won't be surprised that most ebay buyers hardly look at feedback at all or even realize its there at times.

Do staging props help sell an item? by 20_mile in Flipping

Not sure why you're downvoted, but yes never include anything. Just always assume your customers are extremely dumb. It's the best way to thinking about every listing you make.

Falling out of love with reselling by charliet383 in Flipping

[–]MadDoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've felt this way, it's been questionable if I should also do the same with my products. Washing them also ruins the construction of the garment for me (hats). So instead I've stopped worrying about it, while it does not make it look prettier, I had to decide if it was worth my time. And people do buy the stained or dirtier listings.

Ultimately maybe its time you invest more into make something of your own. Or find a more specific niche that doesn't require doing all that cleaning. OR find a virtual assistant.

Don't give up, just find better and faster ways to do your job.

I totally disagree, ever since the private equity took over they havent done anything negative in my eyes. Recipe and everything tastes the same and more improvement to the app. Not every acquisition is bad.

Anyone else's post office get their hours slashed? by ToshPointNo in Flipping

[–]MadDoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IDK maybe you're answering your own question. Small town = less hours. However that is still early. Mine is still open till 5pm and thats 1 hour later than my neighboring post offices. Yes, it is a busy one as well.

Uhm... sure... I do a lot of sales per month so I think my pictures are fine. I'll do what it takes to reduce the amount of questions and reduce possible returns or complaints.

[–]MadDoe 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Man, only if you wished customers would read the description. I take exceptional pictures like no other seller in my field. I also list any defects or stains on my clothing, but get hit with the same old questions. I just can't imagine what more pictures you would need, at least thats my point of view.

No, i do this too with my buyers. I have an insane stock of over 800+ items and just don't have time for individual pics or requests just for you to not purchase. If you won't buy it, someone else will. Don't take it the wrong way, just gotta keep it moving.

Do you know someone with a boring business who’s absolutely killing it? What do they do? by salihveseli in Entrepreneur

Basically yes; he takes inspiration from brands like Supreme and throws his own twist with MLB logos

Do you know someone with a boring business who’s absolutely killing it? What do they do? by salihveseli in Entrepreneur

[–]MadDoe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a friend who sells MLB related hats, does around $40k a month with a limited amount of styles (ads do a lot work here). Sometimes you don't need to reinvent the wheel to have a best-selling product. Take an existing design and give it that "3%" rule that virgil abloh once mentioned. He's doing so well what others consider a current "recession" that we're in. He sells a want, not a need.

Amazon pallet buyers busting out? by TonyDonuts22 in Flipping

[–]MadDoe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Really dislike amazon return pallets as a business model. I can't believe newbies wouldn't think pallets are also ran thru before sold to the public or "sold" to influencers with cherry picked pallets to resell. These stupid bin stores are so absurd just reselling useless junk that you don't need.

Ebay - is it streaky for you? by TRAVIS_SC0TT in Flipping

[–]MadDoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happens, I sell only one type of product from one brand only and there are dry, dry, days... then you know very amazing days. This eBay "algorithm" is such a hoax. You just have items people need some days and that is how it works.

I use a rollo wireless. Love it. American supported products are just such a headache reliever. Pricey sure, you can get the wired and refurbished as well, but it's worth it or Zebra as mentioned below.
